I miss my rider, Prince Daemon Targaryen

I miss Daemon and I miss his affection. Not in some weird, strange way, but in a dragon and rider way.

I miss nuzzling against him. I miss him holding, or at least attempting to hold, my snout in his arms. I miss playfully biting and snapping and nipping at him. I miss blowing smoke at him. I miss the feeling of his weight on my back as he rode me, even if it was like an ant on a elephant, I still miss it. I miss the joy rides, just as much as I miss flying into battle with him. I miss being his friend and, I’m a sense, his protector, always there to pop up when he needs me or when he beckons me. We were both same in personality. Both brutal, battle hardened and fierce, yet cunning and agile.

I miss his company, his companionship, his presence. I miss my rider.

***Memories I have of my rider, Prince Daemon Targaryen***

**I am Caraxes**

-Riding and flying. I have memories of flying with him, most of them were simple joyrides. His weight was light but noticeable on my back, but had no effect on me or my flying. One place I remember was Harrenhal(I think), flying over the castles and dark buildings. I also remember flying over forested areas, oceans, hills, and I believe Kings landing. I also remember flying with Vhagar(she’s another dragon)

-Nuzzles. As brutish as both me and Daemon was, we both were very affectionate and soft with each other. We could be vulnerable with each other. He’d often let me nuzzle my snout against him and bump up against him without angering, sometimes cupping my head in his hands, giving me pats, or even just leaning against each other in a comfortable silence. Well, most silent, apart from when I’d made happy trilling-like sounds.

-Personalities and communication. Me and his personalities were incredibly similar. We were both battle-trained and hardened, fierce, bloodthirsty, cunning and agile. A true force to be reckoned with. When together, we were an extent of each other, this applies heavily in battle settings. I did my best to keep him safe as possible, and made sure to listen to his commands, moving and acting together as one being in sync. It was a connection so deep, that it was almost like I could feel his pain if he got injured in battle, and seemingly vise versa.

-Sillier and lighthearted memories. I remember how if he wasn’t giving me enough attention then I’d nudge my snout against him or blow smoke at him to get his attention. Sometimes he’d just randomly talk to me about the most random things or even his affairs as prince, even knowing I can’t talk back, but I always listened. Unless I was eating, then in that case I was half listening 😅. I would often “Sing”(roaring, growling, chirping, etc) and he’d be forced to listen to me. I “sang” like that for two reasons. 1, I was happy and express my enjoyment and enthusiasm, or 2, I was trying to get female dragons to notice my sick singing.We be flying and I’d just chirp and growl, and he would just have to sit there and listen to me go on and on, sometimes patting me on my neck or back to try and calm me down.

**Things people don’t know/realize about my kin. Caraxes edition. Plus some fun facts!**

1. My eyes are *yellow*. They have always been yellow. Yet people often think my eyes or blue or whitish. My eyes look like that something because I have a nictitating membrane(third eyelid) to protect my eyes.

2. I am actually around 70 years old! Much older than I think most realize.

3. My neck is so much thicker than it seems. Looking at Daemon, who is 6 feet tall, we can help roughly determine the size of my neck alone. *this is a VERY ROUGH estimate!* my neck seems to have a diameter of 30-ish feet at the base of my neck, and is roughly 48-ish feet long from base to snout.

4. The spikes on my neck can move. As seen in some scenes, it shows that yes, I can flex them and make them flare up!

5. I have two rows of teeth, one on the outside, and on the inside is the second row!

6. I have bolts in my neck. This probably sounds crazy at first, but let me explain! Near the base of my neck are bolts, which the reins are attached too! This is so that my rider has better control when we are flying. Don’t worry, they don’t hurt \:)

7. I am actually considering deformed/mutated which is why I am so different from the other dragons!

8. I have a deviated septum, which is why my roar sounds so unique!

9. Rough Sizing! My head is about 12 feet long, my neck is about 48 feet long, but my full body length(snout to tail) is roughly 200 feet! I probably have a wingspan of about 230-ish feet(?)

**A silly-ish memory!**

I have faint memory of other dragons, such as the ones in the pit, being a little confused by my appearance. Yes, Caraxes(me) was born deformed, that’s why I’m so much longer and why I have membranes on my legs and tail.

I remember them coming up and curiously sniffing at my extra membranes or being almosted weirded out by my long neck, tail and body or nipping at me, not in an aggressive way, but simply in an unsure way. After the years they got used to me, but the others were different unsure and curious about me at first 😅

**My Children! :D**

I, Caraxes, am male, but I had a beautiful mate named Syrax, and these are some of our confirmed children. Vermax, Arrax, Tyraxes, and Morning!

This is their colors!: The green one is Vermax, the blue one is Arrax, the pale violet one is Tyraxes, and the pink one is Morning. Three boys and one girl.

I can’t help but see how they all look like me. Was I a constant father in their life? No. Dragons aren’t always there for their hatchlings because we are simply raised differently, plus parent dragons and hatchlings are usually kept separate by the royal family. But that doesn’t mean we don’t care. Vermax has gotten my facial structure and golden eyes, Arrax gotten my facial structure, Tyraxes also got my facial structure it seems, and Morning got my coloring, just lighter. They all have some form of red-ish on them.

**My mate, Syrax!**

I had a mate called Syrax, and she was beautiful. But they dulled her down in the series :( I actually wrote a poem-like thing for her! Here it is!

“My love, how they have stripped you of all of your colors, turning you dull and bland…the Syrax I knew was as gorgeous as a dandelion, but it seems to me that they made my precious flower wilt. She was as gentle as a Westeros breeze and as beautiful as a golden sunrise. This is how I remember her. Golden scales and emerald eyes, with a gentle yet protective

I have memories of me and Syrax laying together, I think on dragonstone(?) and I remember the feeling of her scales against mine. I remember her soft scales and her warm, and how beautiful and radiant she looked in the sunlight. I also remember her having like a sweet scent for some reason

UNPLEASANT THINGS (Potential TW: War/death)

I don’t think this counts as a vent because it’s technically about my kin, Caraxes, and a semi-mental shift/memory

If you don’t know any about the HotD dragons, then I’m just gonna be blunt and straight to the point. The dragons are used in war to kill. I, Caraxes, was used in war and have killed many. And I don’t know if this is a memory or a mental shift or what, it’s kinda fuzzy right now…but I remember the roars of dragons really clearly right now. Not roars of pride or triumph, but roars of pain. I don’t have any real memories of dragons fighting dragons, but sometimes when going through HotD things on Reddit or tumblr or Pinterest gifs or photos of dead dragons pop up and it’s incredibly upsetting. I’ve recently saw a photo of a dragon Meleys(btw a friend I have literally kins Meleys) with her Head cut off after she was killed and I’ve been thinking about it a lot :( it’s just so upset to see my friends like that…My best friend kins Vhagar(Another HotD dragon) and I see people everywhere talking about how excited they are to see us fight. I have practically no memories of us fighting. That’s literally my friend…💔

But on a happier/random note! Neck pats! I don’t think I’ve said this directly to somebody before but I love neck pats!

i do apologize for not having much to say, I cant relate much as the kins I have high connection towards are more human than animal, but thanks so much for yapping to me! I hope ya had fun!! come again any time!!

Oooooh yap time. Gotta love yap time. Wonderful, isn’t it?

I think a lot about a particularly vivid memory I had one time. This was the only time this happened to me, by the way… I’m Wheatley from Portal 2, and I was trying to see if I could get a memory from lucid dreaming or something. Somehow, it. It worked. Miraculously. I remember heading to a specific room in the facility, I believe some sort of break room where there was a little screen for movies, and a couple arcade machines that DEFINITELY did not work anymore, and stuff. But I also remember there was a man in there. He was in a suit, and talking to me, and I remember being VERY confused and a little uncomfortable. Particularly because this was, like, while Aperture was abandoned and ruined. Covered in plants and stuff, not a human in sight. So that must’ve been very confusing.

Thing is, I looked into it, and I think that was the G-Man! There was apparently a cut line in Portal 2 where I was supposed to mention like “oh, a guy in a suit came looking for you”. I think that actually happened in my canon! I find that actually sort of cool, in retrospect! Met a god, or at least some sort of powerful being at one point and didn’t even know it! Wild! Also just in general having that memory so vividly was great, I felt like I was in my old body again. Nothing like being an orb. Very happy about that experience, all things considered.

as for your yapping, for me its based on how I feel!! Normally its just something that feels right. my mems sometimes even start as headcanons then when I kinfirm I realize "hey wait this feels really right, this is a mem!"

Also, if something really random comes to mind involving your kins, its likely a memory! atleast for me!
