Hi hello I moved all my OC/writing stuff from the old site to a cool new Neocities site, added some personal site randomness and generally I've just been having a TON of fun with all the coding crimes for the past few months!

It's still very much work in progress, I have lots of ideas about what I want to try to add and also a lot more writing for the character/worldbuilding stuff to do, but all the basics should be there now. Feel free to look and maybe follow and/or check back later! I might make some update posts here when there's a lot of new things, but so far it's been lots of smaller updates over time.

Also you should all try making a personal site, for things you like or art and ocs or any other things you wanna put up somewhere, it's great! Coding isn't that hard if you give it some time, and me and honestly most pages I visited have links to various resources (tutorials, code snippets, layouts...) to start with things. It's great to have a place you can actually personalize in the current internet times : D

Sometimes I doodle random people that could live in the city in Fisher, to sort out some ideas and think of new ones, and because it's extremely relaxing. These are quite old actually, I started coloring them during one of the past huetobers to get myself to play with colors in chardesign more, but then I got busy and kind of forgot to continue. I'll probably drop the huetober colors idea, but I want to make more of these.

Copying documents during a weekly admin assist duty. Also includes other incredibly thrilling tasks such as preparing reports, answering the phone, organizing folders and trying very hard to not fall asleep, while knowing that you still have a ton of assigned reading to do back in your dorm room that you would really rather be doing instead of all this, because there's only so many hours left until lights out.

Narya's big dorm room is fun to try to figure out, even though I still don't feel like I'm getting it right. It gives me even more reasons to draw more of the daily life from the inside of the Ordrer's building though. And just design. Aaaaall the things.

Totally out of nowhere question: Are you familiar with an artist named Shirotsuki who was on DeviantArt wayyyy back in the early 2000's? Your art style is very nostalgic to me and brings me back to when I was a teenager (in a good way!) It's very soft and warm and reminds me of how a lot of artists used to color scanned pencil sketches. I don't see that type of style around as much anymore.

Oooh yes, I had a HUGE art crush on Allie's art in my early days, which is probably still really easy to see if you know her work haha... I got a lot of other influences over time, but our coloring styles still kinda developed in a similar direction independently, it's funny to watch. But yeah I love love love her art and she's super fun to talk to even if you're an absolute birdbrain like me :>

Smol update of sorts

I haven't been too active with posting despite still basically using tumblr daily, so I figured I could maybe write a short update? Also because the whole social media/art posting internet landscape has changed so much in the past year and I abandoned half the places I used :l I've been keeping my about section mostly updated about what platforms I currently use, but I don't know how many people actually look there, especially if the blog itself isn't super active.

I do wanna go back to posting more, I'm doing fairly ok now too (besides dealing with covid atm whoops) and I just... wanna try to share, because I like looking at what people share, no matter how weird it is. I've also been writing a lot more than drawing, but I have. So much stuff I wanna draw.

don't call what you create "content". regardless of what it is. that's the devil talking. call it art, call it writing, call it music, call it analysis, call it editing, literally just call it what it is

I was going to put other things but oh my god please just don't call yourself a "content creator". you are a person you are making art / writing / music / etc you are an artist an author a musician

you are not an Image Generator For Clicks And Views. please. allow yourself to connect with your work by naming it properly and acknowledging yourself in kind
