Just finished a lore summary for one of my characters on artfight. I spent the entire day on it and even the 5th and final draft is still over 500 words.

My Hero Pony Masterpost

In the far future of the era of harmony (mlp g4) Equestria has adapted to villain and monster threats by providing schools of friendship. Institutions that teach the importance of friendship and comradery while raising their students to become heroes of friendship. Brave warriors that will be tasked with keeping everyone safe, much like the catalysts of friendship were back when the elements of harmony still existed.

One of those institutions is UA, the most renowned of them all. It has produced the most hardy heroes of friendship and is the pride of its local community of Ponyville.

Few notes about this au:

They don't have quirks in the way they do in bnha. Instead, they're much more like the character quirks the word has otherwise been used for. They're strange little things only these characters have happen to them or only they can do. Often it correlates to their cutie marks and vice versa. (you may check some characters for examples)

Ponyville has grown massively!

Technology has advanced greatly. To the point of them aligning to what we see in bnha. Though, this does not mean it's necessarily through electricity and circuitry alone. Magic is still very much a thing here.

All kinds of creatures have started living together ages ago, so now you see a Changeling walking down the street with a Kirin regularly for example.

I have yet to really get to the meat of this, designs are kinda really necessary for this so that's mostly what I have for you right now.

This entire thing was started by a conversation I had with @callie-cyxq and I'm quite enjoying myself.

I just basically finished two sketches that turned out much better than I ever expected after having seemingly burnt out for two weeks.

It's like I woke up from artist hybernation.

Kirishima the stone dragon!

Instead of gaining wings with his molt, he gained the ability to harden his scales to an insane degree. With the addition of his dragon genes, not even lava can melt these puppies once he goes full defense mode.

His tail can be used for additional attack power as it hits like a wrecking ball.

His cheery and buddy-buddy attitude made him a beloved figure in his local dragon community, and it continues even after moving to UA.

I'm not someone who likes continuing chain posts but I respect being mentioned in this as a mutual, so I may aswell.

The way I make friends on the internet is by being silly and yapping on end about basically anything. If you wanna talk skrunklies then we talk skrunklies.

I only have two other mutuals atm that I don't want to pressure into reposting, so I'd prefer to not tag them. Mainly because one of them may get a heart attack.

Basically, there r tons of fake asses on tumblr who just want comments and followers, so someone started this to see who's actually a good friend. Tada!! A lyric comic about Bkg's feelings up until his death. BIIIG spoilers, sorry! Below the readmore is my blabbering about this a lil

So, the song itself is about the narrator comparing falling in love to Icarus's plight. How despite the dangers of love and the pain that can come, he'd rather fall than have never loved at all.

Similarly, Bkg's feelings of recognizing his love and accepting it, regardless of how it ends up, is what I wanted to portray. While meant to be abstract, this could be seen as moments Bkg is thinking about where his feelings felt strongest just before his death.

I had a lot of fun! Sorry its angsty, considering I've only ever done fluff til this point LOL. I'll make it up to you!!

Featuring our friendly neighborhood lightning rod, Denki! If he's in town you will never have to worry about lightning hitting you or your house. Just.. Don't stand too close to him if there's a charge in the air.

He gives off strong pegasus vibes to me, even though earth pony Denki would be a bit more interesting.

It's wild researching horror in art.

Uncanny valley is the main point many make but it, apparently, doesn't affect alot of autistic people. Myself included. How do you follow advice on horror when said advice just sounds like "make face quirky" to you?

It's pretty obvious that his father is the Kirin and his mom is a unicorn. Her family always had an inclination towards ice and the cold.

There are many design choices you can make with a base like this but this is what I turned out with. I'm not entirely happy with it, so it may be prone to have some changes.

It's hard to show it off in a quick traditional drawing like this, but the scales on his back actually only show up with the shifting of the light. The left side golden and the right silver.

I haven't gotten to draw much recently, so have a Bakugo for your troubles.

I decided to have his last row of feathers in red, because you cannot tell me that they haven't developed feather dye and that it doesn't make him look rad.

He picked red because that's the same color as the blood of his enemies.
