I can't post the link right now, but, my dear readers, I have finally posted the second chapter of Christmas at Romanov castle on Ao3. Finally! I am so happy to post after so long, I guess I was just in a bit of a writing slump but so happy to be back. I hope you enjoy the new chapter

not sure how to start this post, but yesterday my mind just went: but what if Monsterhunter!Keelin????

And it kind of makes sense too?

Like, I consider being dutiful one of Keelin's main traits. When it comes to her job as Night Watch member she is serious about it.

and on top of that Keelin has knowledge of plants and herbs and other stuff to make potions.

all of this to say that I am now stuck with the idea of Keelin as a monsterhunter who creates poisonous arrows to harm other creatures.

Like I wouldn't call it a headcanon but much more just a thought

Anyway, just wanted to share

As of right now, I am close to finish writing chapter 2 and I am halfway finished with chapter 3 of Christmas at Romanov castle so expect updates soon!

Just wanted to announce that Christmas at Romanov castle will be a multi-chapter fic and that the first chapter will be uploaded around the 23rd of December.

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to already share the description of the first chapter:

[Vlad is welcomed by his family for the Christmas celebrations and is almost immediately bombarded with questions about a significant other so he does the next best thing: he lies.]

Vlad x Wilko roommate AU

here is a snippet from an unfinished work: Vlad x Wilko roommate AU. I wrote this scene a while ago without any direction for the story and personally I felt that the characters were too out of character to continue writing it (I also made the mistake to write Vlad's heart as "beating") Anyway let me know what you think :)

[ The moment Wilko slammed the door shut, he started removing his articles of clothing one by one, throwing them across the room without bothering to see where they landed.

“What do you think you’re doing?!” Vlad shrieked.

“What does it look like I’m doing?” Wilko said, albeit a bit cheekily. Vlad’s face was flushed as he turned his head away out of embarrassment. Is this what Keelin told him about? Is this what gay panic felt like? Vlad’s heart was beating out of his chest and it took a lot of willpower to not glance back at Wilko as the werewolf – who was leisurely taking their time – changed outfits. Wilko collected the pieces of his uniform which were scattered around the room before taking a quick look at himself in the mirror. Vlad felt a pang of jealousy. Sometimes he wished he could look in the mirror and see his own reflection. Wilko’s ever-so-casual remarks (read: words of affirmation) that he looked good each morning before they left for their classes weren’t always as fulfilling as Vlad wished they would be. For once, he just wanted to see himself.

That’s when Vlad realised: had Wilko been flirting with him? Every single day?!

As if his gay panic wasn’t enough, Vladimir’s thoughts startled spiralling. What if he didn’t pick up on the flirty things Wilko said? Did Wilko think he was some dumb vampire who couldn’t pick up on signals? Was Wilko even gay? Or anything other than straight, for that matter.

And if Wilko was flirting with Vlad every morning, did that mean he was interested in him? Did Vlad actually have a chance?

Vlad’s thoughts halted. A chance? Since when did Vlad think of Wilko like that? Since when did Vlad think of himself like that? Was he gay? Bi? Pan?

He took a quick look at Wilko who was scribbling in a notebook. Immediately, Vlad felt his face burn red again. He must find Keelin right now! He scrambled to get off the bed, laced up his boots and ran for the door. Wilko shot him a confused look, but Vlad didn’t bother to explain. All he knew was that he needed to get out of there. Fast. ]

has it ever been confirmed that Vega is Vladimir's godfather or did I just headcanon it to the point of actual belief?

the amount of Vlad and Wilko angst that is currently in my drafts isn't even funny. fluff is non-excistent (well, almost non-excistent)

prey - a work I've been re-working for quite some time. I don't really wanna spoil anything so... *warning for non-consensual vampire bites* is all I can say, I guess?

Christmas at Romanov castle - as the title suggests, it is a Christmas fic. Vlad x Wilko, Vladimir is invited to his family's estate for the holidays and calls Wilko to come and pretend his boyfriend.

currently unnamed fic - basically, Vlad's past comes back to haunt him, just a whole lot of angst or at least that's how it's sitting in my drafts.

also, I am still writing new things chapter 2 and 3, and I'm still working on prick of a thorn.
