I intended to start posting on this blog only when I am 100% sure that I'm mentally stable enough for it to be safe for other people to interact with me but a few months ago I accidentally posted my premade intro post so I was like fuck it imma start posting anyway xD although I kinda regret it now

But it's never too late! I'll take a few month break from this blog and I'll come back when I'm sure I'm doing well :-)

I've been doing very badly mentally in recent weeks (or months?) - I've noticed some symptoms of paranoia showing up and since I'm prone to psychotic symptoms, I think I'll stop posting for a few months, until I'm doing better

I'm supposed to attend the mental hospital (hallelujah, finally) this year so I'll probably skip posting while I'm in treatment, I won't even schedule anything either

I think my mental state overall is improving, but I want to make sure I'm someone who's stable enough to socialize and post online before I actually do either of those...

I have to admit.. I'm a little scared of being institutionalized and trying to get help for my behavior

I'm scared that everyone else who's institutionalized is "normally" mentally ill and I'm the only one who's "evil person" mentally ill, I'm scared that getting help might end up being denied to me and that I'm left to deal with myself on my own

I find it kinda amusing how soulless my art is

Like, the quality itself is alright, the lines are consistent and clean, the colors work okay together

But just something about it is so sterile and soulless to me, I think it's the expressions

I mean look at Cloudtail and Brightheart (and 2nd Brightheart design mashup piece on the right) - they all look so.... Lifeless

And honestly I actually kinda enjoy this aesthetic, they've got no soul, just like me hehe I'm so edgy look how dark I am

But no, seriously, I find the sterile aesthetic to be kinda appealing to me, my art looks very merchable if I do say so myself
