Version 6.0!

Hi, everyone! I finally finished with v6.0 of the save file!

Version 6 includes Growing Together. I went around and gave every sim multiple character and conversation preferences, so hopefully it'll make for some interesting interactions! Some families also have family dynamics!

I didn't make any specific changes, so there's no cut this time. Let me know if you find any issues and I hope you enjoy~! Thanks for your patience!

The Robles Family

Ignacio Robles’ death caused a rift in the family. Bernice and Jay both want to preserve the family business, but neither of them want to do the work for it and disagree with the other’s way of doing it. Bernice’s relationship with Ian has become strained, Aurelio is now distant with the family, and the youngest, Camilo, wishes he could take matters into his own hands.

Keeping You Updated~

Hey!! Just letting you know that v6.0 is sooo close to being finished! I thought I was closer to being finished before, but then I forgot about the homeless sims 🤡 so I had to go through and give all of them Characteristic and Conversation preferences.

I'm finally done with that and all I have left is to update the sims from Growing Together to 15 years later and give a few sims Family Dynamics and we'll be golden! 😎

There was a bit of a delay on my side bc I had an important project with a deadline, but that's out of the way now so I'm just powering through this update so you can play with the file!

Hope you're all enjoying Horse Ranch if you have it! I don't have it yet, but I'll be getting it at some point so I can start working on v7.0, haha.

have you ever had a new pack released and shipped one of the sims that came with the new pack with an already taken sim?

Not really! I like to keep the sims tied to their hometowns, so that hasn't happened for me yet! If it does ever happen, I'd probably do it on my own personal save and not the one I put up for download, though!

Are you okay with people making their own versions of save files that are x amount of years later, with different stories and stuff?

Of course, people can do whatever they want, haha! 😆 Although, if they take any inspiration from me, I kinda would like some sort of credit 😅. I think I was the first one to make an x years later save file, but I'm not very well known in the community and I don't have amazing builds and I chose a silly name for the file, so I got overshadowed by other people. (I do wish I got noticed by a youtuber, though, ahhh!!)

But yeah! It's a simple and fun idea for a save, so I won't stop anyone from wanting to explore it, haha!

How many days did you age each sim up?

Well, I made a chart that corresponds days to years and I assigned each sim an approximate original age and added 15 to it, so it really depends on the sim! 😅

I've been trying to figure out the best way to share this chart in case anyone was wondering, hopefully I can figure something out soon!

Hiii!!

Just wanted to let you all know that I am still here and I am still working on the save file! I took some time to play and get to know Growing Together, and I had a blast with it! I’m ready to play with a fully complete v6.0!

I’m halfway done with the worlds now as I’ve been going through every sim and giving them Character and Conversation Preferences as well as face/body marks wherever I see fit and a few other CAS updates. Hoping to be done at least before Horse Ranch comes out!

I gotta admit, I just saw another YouTuber make a video about another save file very similar to mine, and it’s just so, so demotivating. The first one was 10 years and now this one is 15 years, the same as mine 🥲. I know I don’t have pretty builds, but I worked hard on these sims and I really love them!

I really appreciate those who have stuck around and enjoyed my file! You’re the ones who keep me going! 💖

Hello, I love your save file! I noticed you had posted an update, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I downloaded and added it to my saves folder but in-game it doesn't show up under saved games. I tried downloading an older version of the save to test and it showed up just fine! I just wanted to bring this to your attention in case anyone else has the same issue. It's possible it's not the correct file? I'm not too sure. Thank you for your amazing work!

Ooh, that's not good! Thanks for bringing that to my attention! It seems I accidentally added 2 extra numbers to the save file 😅 Deleting the first 2 zeros made it work for me, so I'll update the download links!

I’m already working on the next update!

Hey, everyone! Sorry for the late update, but it’s finally here! Thank you for being so kind and patient! It was a lot of work and not easy at all! I’ll have to update much of the blog and family profiles. It’ll take a while, but it’s also fun for me, so hopefully not too long!

Believe it or not, I’ve actually already started working on v6.0! I’m just so excited to have social compatibility that I’ve been adding preferences to everyone! But again, this will probably be a while.
