what's new in nordhaven? 🌿🛍️ beyond bloom save file update v3 | the sims 4

first, i want to extend a huge thank you to all the talented sims builders who allowed me to use their already built lots. thanks to their contributions, i was able to rebuild every single world, including the vacation worlds and the latest addition, nordhaven, from the business & hobbies expansion pack. this world is the biggest update in this version of the save file. ♡

about the save file:

♡ this save file is not pack restricted, there are many packs used in the creation of this save file, so keep that in mind!

♡ i created many new stories for the new but also old townies/families & i gave them new careers, skills & such. 

♡ there are also new holidays which you can enjoy and celebrate with your sims, but also new clubs where your sims can gather and hang out!

strangerville mystery solved

♡ this save file is based on the beyond bloom save file, where the strangerville mystery is solved, and the town is back to normal. i thought this was the best approach, but if you want to redo the whole strangerville story, you can always awaken the mother plant.

INFOS: • Im Spiel steht bei jedem Grundstück & Haushalt die EA ID der Erstellerin dabei. • Es gibt 31 ganz neue Gruppen & 4 originale Gruppen sind geblieben. • Jetzt gibt es 8 neue Feiertage im Kalender • Insgesamt gibt es 524 Sims (Tiere zählen mit). Im Bereich "Meine Haushalte" werden dir im BIG Save 2024 nur 130 Sims angezeigt. Schiebe ruhig Haushalte rüber in die Ecke "Andere Haushalte".   Bedenke aber: Dort können die Sims Beziehungen & Fähigkeiten usw. verlieren. Freunde deines Sims, empfehle ich deshalb in "Meine Haushalte" zu verschieben. • Schaut in die Haushaltsbeschreibung z.B. im Bereich "Haushalte verwalten", dort steht welchen Beruf ein Sim hat, ob er ein okkultes Wesen ist und welche NPC Rolle er hat. Manchmal steht die Rolle auch zusätzlich als Haushaltsname dran. • Sims haben andere Regenschirme dabei. (Enldlich rennen nicht alle mit den schwarzen Regenschirmen herum) • Manche Sims haben eine neue Handyhülle bekommen. • Die Sims haben jetzt untereinander positive & negative Beziehungen + gibt es ein paar wenige Beste Freunde & 2 Feindschaften. • Ich habe versucht möglichst überall Thermostate anzubringen auf Wohngrundstücken und Gemeinschaftsgrundstücken. (sicher findet ihr Grundstücke wo sie fehlen werden xD) • Viele Sims haben Karrieren & Fähigkeiten, manche haben zusätzliche Merkmale & einige wenige haben sogar aktive Lebensstile. • Fast alle Sims haben eingestellte Beziehungspräferenzen, Vorlieben & Abneigungen z.b. bei den Gesprächsthemen und Hobbys usw. Was sie anziehend & unattraktiv finden wurde auch bei vielen Sims eingestellt. • Fast alle Sims (überweigend weibliche) wurden mit den neuen Wimpern geupdatet.

Empty Worlds Save File

This is a downloadable save file (download to C:\Users\....\........\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves).

Every world and apartment has been emptied, and there are no inhabitants, save for 1 Maxis townie who you can delete once you've created a Sim. I've also deleted hidden households. It's Base Game Compatible, as only worlds from packs you own will show up. You can change the Season by right clicking it if you have UI Cheats, or through the MCCC menu. I've also added a few little extra holidays.

Recommended Mods (not required): MC Command Center - Remove situation outfits, stop Occult generation etc., pull townies from tray Instead of generating new ones (guide and townies here). More townies here, here (scroll down a little), and here. Universal Venue List - Enable Custom Lot Types Twisted Mexi's Mods - Moo always on, etc. UI Cheats Extension - The easiest, best mod EVER!

What I've Been Up To

Hey, friends!

I’m sure at least some of you are wondering what I’ve been up to since I had to abandon updates to Career World. Well, as a matter of fact, even before the For Rent corruption bug caused all that to go pear-shaped, I was already working on my next giant save file project: a save file meant to maximize immersion in The Sims 4 by pairing lots that blend seamlessly into their surroundings with gameplay setups that lean into world identities and pack features already established by the Sims team.

I’m really excited about this project and I think it’s great, but there are two problems with it: A) I can’t work on it fast enough to keep pace with all the new content releases, so I fear it will never be done, and B) if it winds up being as big as Career World (which was the intention—I had planned on this being another “all worlds” save file), it is likely to run up against the same save-file-destroying bug. So, despite how awesome the unifying concept was, I’ve decided I’m better off releasing it as a series of several different save files, some single worlds and others world clusters, depending on what best suits the gameplay angle I’m going for. The first of these was the Dream Town Makeover save file, which features seamless Maxis-match lots and maximizes the potential of the pack content from Eco Lifestyle and Dream Home Decorator by pairing them together. If you haven’t played it yet, I strongly suggest you check it out—it will give you a feel for the concept I’m working with for this save file series.

In light of the recent release of the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack, which allows you to hold live classes for any skill, I think the concept I’m going to focus on next will revolve around education. I’ve already made substantial headway on immersive versions of Copperdale and Britechester, the two education-focused worlds, and I expect I can have them finished with the new content integrated in about 3 to 4 months. But of course, I also have ideas for building playable elementary and preschools using Businesses and Hobbies, plus extension schools, specialty schools (Windenburg Butlering Academy, anyone?), etc., not to mention my penchant for creating study abroad programs—so in the end, I expect this to wind up as a very large world cluster. I think what I’ll do is release this one in stages: the core worlds of Copperdale and Britechester first for version 1.0, and then a new version every time I complete another world that I want to tack onto it.

And of course, if I ever finish this immersive save file series and have every world done, I will at least try to smoosh them all together into the one giant save file I had originally envisioned, because I’m me. Perhaps the corruption bug will even be fixed by then, who knows?

So keep an eye out for something new in about 3 or 4 months, and until then, happy simming!

i’ve been working on this save file for a while now, i have two areas done already, this one is the community area and i totally put luke’s diner from gilmore girls in there even tho it doesn’t necessarily fit the vibe so i made it more grungy and it’s not a full replica but i thought it would be nice to have lmao
