Your portfolio is breathtaking; I literally got shivers when I looked at that image with the window shades falling diagonally across you. Do you get paid for every photoshoot? How much, if you don't mind me inquiring?

Thank you for single handedly plastering a giant smile on my face! That really means a lot : ) 90% of the things you see on this portfolio I have not gotten paid for--they are either test shoots or work for trade so that both the photographers and I can improve our portfolios. I am going into SMG (Seattle Models Guild) next week to hopefully get signed though, which should get some cash influx flowing in haha : )

Your portfolio is a joy to look at - sensual and yet so fun! How did you get started in modeling, and where did you come across all of these great opportunities? You're obviously hardworking and have progressed a lot from the beginning :) Do you have any modelling tips?

Honestly, I just kind of woke up one day and decided to give it a try. I've been told (by my mom, haha) that I'm photogenic all of my life so I decided to pursue it. 

I've only been modeling since January, and I just started out with a Model Mayhem. Then somewhere in February I did this fashion show at UW and met some wonderful, talented people and my network kind of exploded after that so I've had the chance to work with some really great photographers already. 

I've only modeled with other girls a couple of times, but the biggest problem I always see is that models only move through "poses" and are very choppy about the way they move. I would just advise being more fluid and constantly moving (like dancing), even if it's very slow. Photographers also like it when you can be self-directed. It wastes a lot of time if they constantly have to be thinking about poses or things for you to do -- that's your job, so really try to understand the mood and theme the photographer is going for and work it!

Also, be picky about the photographers you work with. Don't say yes to anyone who asks.
