Hey I feel like Sirius using Remus as a weapon and being an overall dick and more importantly Peter canonically killing like 12 people (like I know murder is implied for death eaters and order members alike but this is written down) is sort of rolled over a bit too much for me

Wolfstar but it’s one-sided and always has been; Remus is actually straight and has let a loathing for Sirius fester due to his horrible treatment of him because Sirius only believes in blood status equality to spite his family and thinks werewolves are beneath him

Sirius drinks so much in OOTP for many reasons, but one of them is watching Remus—someone who Sirius thinks he’s entitled to—become so close to Tonks, who is everything Sirius believes he is (even if she still has some reservations about the whole lycanthropy thing that she has to overcome too)

Remus doesn’t really mourn Sirius, just the period in his life that Sirius represented, and that’s what tears him up so much about watching him die: the fact that he doesn’t truly care

Little headcanon that the Lupin-Tonkses live on an island (obviously not, like, a tropical island—I mean one of the islands just off Britain) to get away from the noise of the mainland, since both found that they didn’t really appreciate the attention they were getting after the war, and that it was a bit less stress to deal with the moons in a less populated area.

Andromeda and Tonks being parallels in that they are both women who were higher in society than the men they chose to marry as like, a physical beacon of progress in generations is fun, but them being parallels of two generations having to break down their prejudices despite thinking they are very progressive (especially because Tonks was raised by her “progressive” mother) is the best
