saiki and toritsuka to me have such a brotherly relationship and that’s why saiki is short with the psykickers. I like that post floating around about saiki distancing himself in fear of abandonment but I genuinely thinks he loves aiura and reita like siblings because kusuke rejected him for the same powers they bond with him over. their antics feel like best friends or siblings who’ve had a dynamic for years and years and of course saiki’s intimate reading of their thoughts has something to do with it but since they know his secret, he has developed a comfortability with them to express his bleakness and deeper parts of his personality (because saiki is nosy and manipulative just like toritsuka and mikoto) and now they have this funny bond that’s not ruled by judgement.
