Ken Kaneki

Friend of mine asked me to do Ken Kaneki study drawing, so here is my first Tokyo Ghoul drawing.

First time drawing Sakunosuke Oda! This Odasaku study drawing took a bit longer that I expected, it was quite challenging.

My first proper non study drawing! And it had to be of course Wei Wuxian!

(Last two pages from The Heartless Cur) I saw on another social media platform one anime contest and it was ''best sensei'', Gojo vs Dazai. All the ones who were voting for Dazai and wrote about it in comments, got comments from Gojo fans and others, that Dazai is just an bad person who abused Akutagawa. Those people clearly don't know the actual background story about how Dazai and Akutagawa actually met. I commented like this in that post: Many people here are talking about Dazai abusing Akutagawa. In the short story The Heartless Cur, that was released about 9-10 years ago, it a bit explained Akutagawa's backstory and also the moment he met Dazai. Dazai said to Akutagawa that he can give him enough money to have decent lives with his sister or he can join mafia. Akutagawa said that he wanted a reason to live and asked if Dazai can give it to him. He wanted join mafia and he did. In anime, none of this was told. Akutagawa could have had nice life without joining mafia. Dazai also knew very well how cruel, brutal, sadistic the life in mafia was. In his mind he most likely thought that he has to give Akutagawa rougher treatment so Akutagawa gets used to the life in mafia and that he will survive in the life path he himself chose. It doesn't of course fully excuse that kind of treatment but it still makes sense. Akutagawa had way better chance to survive and succeed in mafia when he was taught from the beginning how cruel it is so he was able to adjust and get used to all the possible horrid things he would face in the future. Many people judges characters and situations without knowing the actual full truth and it's sometimes quite frustrating. As I see constantly everywhere people saying how Dazai is bad and horrible character and person as he was abusive to Akutagawa. But his actions does make in a way sense. Akutagawa could have chosen differently but he chose life in mafia.
