Got the idea for this a while back when blooming poppies where practically overflowing my hometown. It made me think of Tall Poppy Syndrome and how it might apply to Roman. Cause, you know, he’s the ego and confidence yet is constantly cut down by others?

Works-in-progress, but I probably won’t finish ‘em.

The first one is my attempt at learning how to paint. Tried channeling some Louie Zong vibes, not sure how that panned out.

The second is a photo I took, and then I added a little self portrait in it. One thing I want to get better at is drawing characters in a space, this was a bit of an experiment in that. It’s keeping them in the right scale that is difficult.

Last post of 2019. And this decade. Isn’t that something, we’re about to leave the ‘New Tens’ behind us?

Tried to come up with something profound to say at this new end and beginning, but all I really want to say is: Thank you. I hope the next year and decade will be a good one.
