I started rereading that story.

One that makes me cry and feel like throwing up because of how messed up it is.

So naturally, I’m sharing a scene.

Because if I have to suffer, you do too.

The floor beneath him tilted ever so slightly.

Or maybe that was just the blood rushing to his head.

He paused.

If he fell, no one would hear him.

No one would come.

But then again... hadn't it always been like this?

For months, he'd walked the edge of something dark and deep with no one at his side. He'd told no one. Had screamed into silence and swallowed his pride along with too many pills, too many hopes.

There had been nights he forgot what his own voice sounded like. Days when he was sure his legs wouldn't work again.

So why stop now?

Not sure if I’ll ever actually publish it tho… we’ll see.
