There is no veil between this world and another. It is, instead, a rich tapestry woven together with the finest of thread. You don't train yourself to see through a barrier, but instead you learn to feel the strings all around you.

Grazas polo voso tempo ;)

Bruja tradicional

Post Bound Grimoire Tutorial
Materials
4 pieces of heavy-weight chipboard
Assorted Scrapbook Paper
Mod Podge
A Ruler
A Box Cutter or Exacto Knife
Something to Evenly Apply Glue
3 1 ½" Screw Posts
3 ½" Screw Posts
Awl
Tumblr media
First you need to cut all of the pieces of chipboard. Above I have all if the dimensions of what I did:
2 pieces of chipboard that are 11 ½" x 9 ¼"
4 pieces that are 11 1/8" x 1" for the posts
1 piece that is 11" x 8 ½"
1 piece that is 11 1/8" x 2" (it is marked 1 ½ and ½ but only one piece) for spine 1
1 piece that is 11 1/8" x ½" for spine 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next cover the three large pieces of chipboard with scrapbook paper of your choice. Be sure to fold over and glue down the excess.
Then, using strips (I used one that is 8" x 12" and another that is 4" x 12"), connect the pieces of chipboard with the spine pieces between them, with approximately 1/8" between each of the pieces. Fold over and glue down the excess again. Below is how the first two should look together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next fold pieces of scrapbook paper for the posts. I recommend starting from the middle and making a strip long enough for the spine, then use the post-chipboard pieces to fold on each side. They should look like the above.
(Forgot to take a picture!!!)
Using a 3 hole punch, punch the post-chipboard pieces.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Glue the post-chipboard pieces to the scrapbook paper and pierce holes through the paper using the awl. Ensure that the posts of the screw-posts are able to go through these holes.
Tumblr media
Glue down the post mounts to their appropriate spots.
Tumblr media
Apply some more scrapbook paper to cover up the chipboard and you’re done!
You can load the book with paper by unscrewing the screw posts and filling it similar to that of a binder.

Witch eLibrary
I’ve been working on getting as many PDFs of good books as I can so I can read and research with books I don’t already own. I’ve created a Google Drive that I upload them to (I also have a personal library, I’ll share that as well) that is now open for public viewing. I’ve downloaded many of these from posts floating around here as well as different sites I use for witchy stuff (thank you all, btw). I figured that if anybody else needs them, they’ll all be compiled in this library for the people who can’t physically buy the books. You can find this library here and my personal library that’s still in construction here. My personal selection included much of Plato, Henry David Thoreau, and Ralph Waldo Emerson if anyone wants to dip into it. Also, if anyone has anything to add (more books are definitely welcome), any names of authors for the books in the Unknown Authors folder, or any other feedback for this library, don’t hesitate. My ask box is always open. c: Thank you all, and happy reading!

Hi witch community, i believe i might need your help!! I have started studying and practicing the craft not long ago and something happened to me twice already and I don’t know what the hell I’m supposed to do. (English is not my first language, so be aware)
A month or two ago, i woke up from a dream and the seconds after i felt an entity whispering something at the back of my neck (it sounded like hasshhhhhh, really breathy). To specify a little bit more, the dream i had was completely unrelated to any ghost theme. Then, i saw myself from above, like, i saw myself sleeping in my own bed, as if i was floating near the ceiling. And i saw the entity approaching me from the back (left side of my bed). They were awfully stereotypical: white thin old skin, white eyes, lips uncovering their teeth (as a corpse), white and gray long hair flowing in the air (like when you are under water), and was dressed in some old white robes. And they irradiated a little bit, some kind of white bluish light. They reached for me and the moment they whispered in the back of my neck, suddenly I wasn’t seeing myself from above, but i was again in my own body. I opened my eyes an looked around, but there was no one there. I swear to whoever is out there that I FELT it in my neck.
It really freaked me out, even tho I didn’t feel a clear negative energy. I didn’t forget about it but i started to think “well, it was probably part of the dream, or it was sleep paralysis or something”... BUT today i was meditating sitting on my couch, in my room. I had difficulty concentrating and felt like i was starting to doze off when i heard it again. In my left side again. This time was shorter and a little more aggressive. I opened my eyes and again, nothing there. I re-listened to the last few seconds of the meditation music i was listening with my earphones but there was no weird sound there.
Idk what to do. This kind of stuff has NEVER happened to me before. I used to be too skeptic. I cleanse my room almost daily, and i try to meditate and work on my energy, i put salt and rosemary everywhere and i generally feel protected in my own room. Im not sure if they have good intentions or not, but i would appreciate if they communicated in a way that didn’t make me shit my pants every time.
I have a tarot deck that i feel really connected to... should i try to use it to communicate? Or should i try to get them out of my room?

Need Witchy Books?
Merry Meet, y’all.
Do you live in a home that forbids you to practice, preventing you from buying witchy supplies like books? Are you dirt poor and can’t justify spending money on magickal tomes instead of groceries? Are you simply new to the lifestyle, and don’t want to commit having physical books when you don’t know if you’ll keep up with it?
Enter: Bonnabell’s Occult Library
It’s a free Google Drive folder full of PDFs pertaining to a variety of occult subjects, but mostly Wicca and witchcraft.
Now, don’t get me wrong: I 100% recommend buying books if you can. I personally buy witchy books, because I’m able to and I like supporting my community. And if you’re in a similar situation where you have the money and the freedom to buy the books in person, I highly suggest you do so. But not everyone has the means to, and I want to help. Right now, there are about 49 PDFs free for everyone to use how they need to. All I ask is that if someone asks where you found it, link them back to the Google Drive Folder so it can help more people. Click here to go to the folder, and please remember to click the !Read First! file before perusing. If you have a subject or certain book you’d like me to try to find to add to the Drive, feel free to message me!
Merry Meet Again, babes!

Here is my full collection of PDFs I currently own and I’m still looking to expand this list. On this google drive you find a vary of tabs of subjects.
Some tabs are empty as I am still looking for PDFs for them!
If you would like to submit a PDF please do so in my Submission link! Please read the guidelines and make sure the PDF isn’t in there already.

{Art by Julia Nikita}
The sabbats are holidays celebrated throughout the year on solstices, equinoxes, and the midpoints between them. These sabbats form the Wheel of the year.
There is a controversy surrounding the dates of these holidays, as people celebrate them all over the earth, not only in the northen hemisphere but in the southern too.
One viewpoint is that the Sabbats should be celebrated as they were originally created to be… in other words, Samhain is October 31st, regardless of where you live. In the Southern Hemisphere, even though you are just gearing up to summer on October 31st, this perspective says that you celebrate the cleansing and releasing, the honouring of the dead just as you would if you lived in the Northern Hemisphere. The other viewpoint (the one I personally agree with) is that you should celebrate when you feel like the season corresponds with the holiday, in other words, your craft, your rules. So if you live in the southern hemisphere, you have the choice.
I’ll be writing the dates for each holiday starting with the northen hemisphere and then the dates that many people celebrate them in the southern hemisphere

Grimoire/book of Shadows decoration ideas and ideas of what to put in them:
I struggle sometimes with what to write in my grimoire, so I thought I’d write a list to help myself and others :) and even though I keep my personal grimoire plain on the covers, I will include decoration ideas because not all people want theirs plain, and the decoration could also be for the inner pages :)
Decoration:
📖 paint the covers a colour or pattern that gives you energy
📖 a picture collage
📖 a pressed flower and leaf collage
📖 draw sigils, which are practical as well as pretty
📖 draw a pendulum or ouija board in your book, which is also functional as well as decorative
📖 washi tape borders, book marks and page keys!
📖 when writing in your grimoire, you can separate bits of information in boxes. Using coloured pens/pencils or patterned lines looks nice :)
📖 carefully paint the edges of the pages. I like it when this is done with metallic paint but the colour is a personal choice :)
Content ideas
✨ write a list of trees, types of animals, flowers etc that you feel a connection to if you think nature is important to your craft
✨ you could also do a list of objects in general
✨ write magical recipes that you like into your grimoire and what properties you feel the finished product has
✨ a list of your crystals and stones and what vibe they give off, and their properties
✨ write about solstices if you follow them
✨ when you do a spell, I recommend writing down your method and what result you got, for future reference. This way you can repeat the spell easily and it can be tweaked if necessary :)
✨ write about deities you have a connection to, if any
✨ write about your familiar if you have one
✨ If you feel drawn to a certain type of animal, you could write about what animal you have this feeling towards. It may be worth looking into getting one if your situation allows it! I believe that the animal I feel drawn to (more so after practicing witchcraft for a while!) could be a future familiar for me. For example you could write about how to care for them, whether they have any magical connotations, and name ideas if you think you’ll get one! :)
✨ tarot card spreads
✨ results of tarot/pendulum/ouija sessions
✨a list of sigils so you can remember them (they don’t have to be activated if they’re just for reference)
✨ if you feel drawn to a particular tarot card or one of your pendulums (if you don’t have multiple pendulums that’s fine! You could write about the one you have) write about it and how it makes you feel
✨ magical correspondences of herbs
✨ general information about the path you follow (or if you are eclectic, parts of each type that interests you :))
Obviously there is way more to write about and way more decoration ideas! Feel free to reblog and add ideas if you have any!!
