This post wasn't planned but I've been cleaning up my basement and found some old drawings, and a couple of em caught my eye. Look at this:

This Panzer III that I think I made at school for Inking lesson, around 3 years ago

These others were posted on my now dead Instagram account where I posted a lot of planes and tanks drawings and are much much older

A RAF Spitfire and a F4 Phantom with Vietnam jungle Camo and Shark mouth nose art, the spitfire was watercolours and the f4 phantom was made with watercolor pencils

This one would be perfect if I didn't draw such tiny people lol, idk what was in my mind it's been years

Some other plane drawings are still on my pixiv they're also quite old and one of em could've been better

To make it even more goofy, I have doodles from my teen years

So much lore about them.. my early stories were about these toony machines and humans. With the current politics I could never publish em cause they're about war, and I was getting in troubles only for having depicted soviet era machines in one draft once. Sigh..

Man it's been a while I haven't drawn any. I wonder if you want to see more around here? Like, brand new drawings of this stuff. It would be a challenge for myself to draw more planes after so long and after I got proper drawing lessons, and a reason for my blog to be still called "hangar". Cars get boring after a while hahaha (with all respect to car enthusiasts) and I have tons of models I can use for reference at home.

this quote from jeffrey combs really touches me because like, he gets it. he gets why so many kids loved the show, connected to the humans, why people love to make OCs for it, why we care so much for the cast. it really is special to feel like youre there with them on the adventure, and is easy to wonder "what if i was there and they were my friends too?"
