Breaking Bad: Breaking Bad
↳ “I have spent my whole life scared – frightened of things that could happen, might happen, might not happen. Fifty years I spent like that. Finding myself awake at three in the morning. But you know what? Ever since my diagnosis, I sleep just fine. What I came to realize is that fear, that’s the worst of it. That’s the real enemy. So, get up, get out in the real world and you kick that bastard as hard as you can right in the teeth.”

hey, i had mono or glandular fever as we call it here and the initial fever (glands swollen up, looks like tonsilitis and general unwellness) landed me in hospital because i couldn't breathe so please keep an eye on your tonsils. I was pumped with pretty heavy duty antibiotics to get rid of the tonsilitis and help 'control' the fever. I was delirious for days after not sleeping for two-three days and not eating. I truly recommend getting help if it gets worse. It can take up to a year to fully..
Aww I'm so sorry to hear that dear, that must have been super painful. And thank you for caring it means a lot <3Currently I can only eat liquid stuff so I'm trying to eat soup and yogurt regularly, plus drinking a ton of water. I was actually at the hospital yesterday and the day before to get tests done to see if it was mono - which it was. Yesterday, however, I both threw up and collapsed at the hospital, found out that I had a high fever so they had me stay until around midday. But that was probably because due to lack of sleep and low blood sugar.Today I am feeling a bit better, no fever I believe and it's only my throat and liver that aches today. So I'm gonna rest as much as I can and make sure I take the pills I need and eat and drink.Yeah from what I've read and heard you can stay tired from mono after the symptoms died down during several months, which sucks. I'm still hoping to be able to go abroad with my family next week on Tuesday, but as far as things are looking now, I doubt it...
