Lost hero review

Okay, so I use this website called good reads where I keep myself updated with books, and look at what others thought of the books I have read too. Which brings me to this topic, I just finished reading the lost hero by Rick Riordan and I have to say I'm kinda disappointed. A lot of people on goodreads praised it and I admit it's a good book, just not as good when you think about who wrote it. I loved the new characters and even laughed a few times when Leo cracked his sarcastic jokes. But the problem doesn't lie with the characters, it's the plot. I like that all of the different main characters had a mystery to them that we figure out later on but when you look at the base of what is going on in the story then it is as if it's on repeat. Like the trio meets a god or goddess (sometimes legendary mortal that has been brought back by a "patron") the god decides not to kill the trio, the trio talks about their quest and that they need help, the god decides to be a douche and tries to kill them. The trio fleets and meets the next god. It kept repeating itself and in the end I got tired of the book, I finished it but I was left with a bittersweet taste in my mouth. I honestly had expected more than this and I can only blame myself for having high expectations.

A rose

Okay, try and imagine a rose. Do you have the picture in your head now? Is it clear? Good, is it simple and beautiful the rose you imagined? A rose is all of that and more. Did you remember the thorns, cause even a delicate rose needs to be able to protect itself from others who want to harm it. Remember that.

I just found some drawings I did when I was 9 years old. I was clearly in my sonic phase. I REGRET NOTHING.... Maybe just a little.

Worst decision I've ever took. So I took a drawing I was really proud of and thought "hey, could it not be fun to colour it. " and so I did.

Lady Diana

I love Diana, out of all the characters in the anime “The seven deadly sins” She is the one that I can relate most to. “I just want to be smaller” Diana says at one point, and as a girl myself at the heigth of 6 feet and 2,8 inches, I know how she feels. Also the fact that she says. “at that momment I felt as if I was the same height as that boy” She is talking about Melodias. I know how it feels to always stand out in a crowd and to be remembered as “The tall girl”. Also the fact that everybody takes the space they have for their legs in public transport for granted. I can’t sit probably in a bus seat. A BUS SEAT! sorry... got side tracked. But the thing is that Diana is a boost to the tall girl comunity and is one of the few tall anime women that express their insecurity about their height.

Bus urges

Oh man I had an urge to just go on that bus, which was going the opposite direction of my school just to go on it and go to my friends house in the next big city. But responsibility held me back from doing it, and the thought of how angry my dad would get. Dang it responsibility.
