Random memory lane but on the day I discovered Vaati and developed my unholy obsession I wrote a poem about him (in purple ink btw!). The first letter of every line combined reads his name.

You up for some cringe poem of a 14 year old kid in 2013 who couldn't even properly use the English langauge (because not my native language)?

Vengeance seeker, hated from his tribe A terrible thirst for power, hunting the golden force Always alone in his darkest hours The one who was lost in his evil spirit Impossible to redeem

I was one of those kids who stopped. My drawings were mocked and I thought I am simply not talented. So I quit art at age 7.

At age 11 I picked it up again because in school I sat next to someone who would constantly draw manga style doodles. This is it. This was the day that caused a full butterfly effect.

Now almost 15 years later I am here and I've gotten far in my journey even though of course there is still lots of room to grow.

You Should Draw Again

Pretty much all children draw at some point, and then one way or another, most of us stop. I think a lot of us stop because we just got old enough to look around us and feel self conscious about not being one of the kids who was "good at art", or if you had a past like mine, for worse reasons. But whatever the reason, it's a bad reason.

And overcoming it will help. Maybe your art won't be very good (and it certainly won't be at first), but you'll get practice in one of the most important things you can do: rebelling against the lie that you can't start what you're not already good at.

Vaati after sizing up to human form for the first time and exploring the world of humans from a different angle.

I headcanon that even though he studied the malicious tendency of the human heart he forgot to prepare to actually become a human and he makes one weird mistake after the other at first.

Watch him admire the tiny size of everday objects and try to pay with things others than rupees until he realizes that he and his peers did hide rupees in the grass for a reason other than them being pretty lmaoo.

Ive already had my total eclipse when i was a newborn. The video footage showed my big blobby wtf babyface when everything went dark and cold for a short while. I cant remember shit anymore but hey uhm I've witnessed an eclipse too once ( ✌︎'ω')✌︎ we have something in common?

This is my contribution to the @facesofevilzine! The topic was to draw tiny villains and to noones surprise I drew Minish Vaati and his Keese army. I've chosen BOTW Keese because they look the most vaati-esque think.
