I wanna make something fun happen in this fandom. Remember those games where you wrote a word, then the next person wrote one too, and so on and so forth? I bet we can recreate that online. Also, we can do broken telephones. And lipograms and exquisite corpses and other weird and fun shit. Currently looking for mods.
Don't wanna be here? Send us removal request.

Mod zhuk will be leaving in about a week, so let’s wrap all of the challenges that were left hanging. On Monday, July 23rd these will be officially over:
Caption Challenge #2
Promo Bingo
Team-Write Additional Challenge (make sense of the story)
So if you’re interested in doing them, now’s your last chance! And if you have done them and your entry isn’t reblogged by the end of the week - something must’ve gone screwy and it’s best to contact this blog directly.
And in the ensuing week of July 23-29 we’ll be running a quick game - a digital version of Exquisite Corpse (please don’t let’s the name turn you off and give that link a read~)

Blind Team Write Done!!
Our first team writing challenge has concluded, everybody! :D Please enjoy the results! And if you can come up with an ending that ties this patchwork narrative together or a theory that explains the logic behind it, you will get to choose which challenge this blog runs next!! Or request some art from mod zhuk if that’s more up your alley (i swear i draw better than i write!)
[There were no restrictions on the wordcount, character roster, genre ot plot. The author’s names are stated before their part of the story. The last sentence, which was all that the next participant saw, is bolded.]
mod zhuk’s part
“Ah, there’s my Polo T-shirt! Perfect, just what I need for the trip to the mall tomorrow. Christmas Sweater T-shirt... can go to the back of the wardrobe. Now, where could that T-shirt T-shirt be?..”
Izuku was hard at work unpacking as the sun set on the new UA dorms. It was weird having to move a second time this year after spending all of his life before now in the same old apartment, but a lot of things got weird since he’d entered the highly acclaimed hero academy. Well, less acclaimed nowadays, especially after what happened with the previous dorm building. A deafening noise had shaken the premises that day and as the first responders came running they found everything above 4th floor in 1-A’s right wing caved in.
The lack of casualties - it had happened during school hours - was in school’s favour in their fight with the media, so despite the still ongoing investigation and the general unrest they were allowed to fish their belongings out and move into an even more high-security facility on UA grounds. Within the same week, even! Izuku had a few theories about what happened of his own, and had been itching to do some sleuthing around the ruined building earlier, but after Mr. Aizawa’s particularly brutal training session and an evening spent dragging boxes he found that he wanted nothing more than to finish unpacking and call it a day. Detective work could wait.
But as he put the last T-shirt away, Izuku heard a weird noise outside his door.
@maebewejustexist ‘s part
Izuku frowned, listening for any other sound. Above the low thrum of his air conditioning, he heard what now sounded like a grunt. Slowly, carefully, he padded towards the door. His hand turned the doorknob open inch by inch, and he held his breath as he pushed it open all the way. When Izuku saw what sat outside it though, his fear turned into confusion.
“A lizard?” Izuku muttered to himself, staring into the golden eyes, set into a black sclera, of a strange creature.
@kuso-otaku‘s part (AO3 link)
The seeds of a wicked idea were planted in his mind. No, he couldn't do it. It was too risky. Kaminari's words rang in his head "You think too much, man. Just let yourself enjoy life for once," followed by All Might's "Heroes take chances, sometimes things go well, and sometimes they don't. What's important is that you were bold enough to take your chances." His heart pounded against his chest. Kacchan would kill him if he found out, but for once, he didn't care. What Kacchan said to Todoroki and Uraraka was plain mean even for his standards. Izuku would never forgive him for that. He went to the little creature, crouching down while a plan formed in his mind. He plucked a small piece of grass and started moving it left and right to distract the lizard while his other hand went for its tail. The plan worked without a hitch, and he placed the small thing in his sweatshirt's front pocket. Izuku's whole body started shaking, partially nervous, partially excited. He moved fast, using his quirk only to boost him to the dorm's doors. He pushed them open with one hand while the other securely held the lizard in his pocket. Surprisingly, he didn't meet anyone on his way to his destination. When he reached it, he stood in the hallway for a moment to check for anyone coming. Then, he placed his ear on the door to double check that the room was indeed empty. Thankfully, it was. Izuku's heart was beating in his throat. He opened the door and hesitantly made the first step in. Sweat beaded on his skin and trickled down his brow.
Was he actually doing this? Was he actually that stupid? He took more hesitant steps toward the bed. Glancing left and right, he carefully placed the creature under the blanket. Only then did panic hit him in the gut. Fully realizing what he was doing, Izuku sprang for the door not bothering to check for passersby. Luck was on his side; no one was in the hallway. He turned the corner, giddiness that he actually had the nerves to do it started to bubble in his chest. That's when he bumped into someone. "Midoriya? Your room isn’t on this floor." Aizawa sensei said. Panic spread in Izuku's chest like wildfire. "S-sensei, I-I just...I’ll g-go there now." Aizawa sensei narrowed his eyes at him, opened his mouth to say something then closed it and sighed. "Whatever," he mumbled. "G-goodnight, sensei." Izuku cried, voice high pitched as he made a run for it. A minute later, he was securely in his own room with the door locked behind him. Izuku paced his room, internally screaming all the while. He'd done it. He'd actually done it. He spent the next thirty minutes going back and forth between regretting his actions, being sure it would come back to bite him in the butt for sure, and being proud for having the nerves to pull it off. Finally, when his internal battle exhausted all his energy, he flopped on his bed, his eyes drooping. A minute might've passed or ten, but Kacchan's scream woke him up all the same.
@chocoobs‘ part
This was getting annoying.
He really needed to get some sleep; he had to be in top shape tomorrow. That bastard Dabi should have gagged the blond when he began his foreplay to the, uhm, „interview” with him. But, hey, that would have taken away the whole point of voluntary information exchange, right?
Izuku got up from the couch and went to his work station. “It should be somewhere arou—ah!”, he fished his earphones from the chaotic order of his desk, and he was about to turn when another shriek cut through the walls.
That was definitely not Kacchan’s.
Within a blink, he was already outside, running down the hallway, down the stairs, in front of the door to the—“Goddamn it, Dabi!” he hissed when the handle in his grip didn’t yield. Then there was another scream, and this time Izuku didn’t waste a moment to active his Quirk and break down the door.
When he stepped into the room, his partner was lying on the floor and Kacchan’s chin was dripping with blood.
@themessofthecentury‘s part (art/writing blog link)
His eyes widened, what the fuck the other boy gazed at his face and he felt the urge to hit him rise up in his bones. The room smelt metallic and he couldn’t tell if it was from blood or shock. The floor and ceiling looked the same, with the exception that his partner was laying there. Unmoving. So eerily still he could have been dead.
"What. The. Fuck."
@maebewejustexist ‘s part... again! Because we finished early
Izuku ran a hand through his hair, looking for the nearest solid thing for him to lean against. He pressed his hand against a wall, repeating, “What the fuck?”
“I mean, at least it isn't Bakugou,” Todoroki says with a half shrug.
The end~

How About a Writing Challenge

Yes, yes, we know, we’ve been absent for a while, and technically we’ve got two other challenges currently going, but we’re back now and we’ve got a new game idea:
A Blind Team Write
How it works: The first participant starts the story by writing 1 paragraph. There can be as many or as few sentences in the paragraph as they want! Next, the writing is submitted to us, and we forward the last sentence and ONLY the last sentence to the next person. They, in turn, write a second paragraph based on that sentence. Rinse and repeat until a beautifully disjointed story emerges.
Everyone will get 1 or more turns writing, depending on how many people take part. So we want to gauge your interest first! If this seems like something you’d like to participate in, please “like” this post and we’ll get back to you! Reblogs don’t count as expression of participation intent, so we’d be super thankful if you spread the word even if you don’t plan on taking part!
Now, let’s have fun, shall we~

Image Caption Challenge #2
Let’s take a short break from the Bingo and caption another image from Horikoshi-sensei’s Twitter!
What's director Bakugou saying to the cast? What could the title of the movie be? Or the synopsis? You decide!
You can submit your caption(s) to the blog, leave it in your reblog or comment, or tell it to us on our Discord. The results will be posted with proper credit in a few weeks. Have fun! :D

A reminder that this event is still going! If you've got a bingo, come and claim your prize~!
@bnha-community-board @uahigh-newsletter
It’s Bingo Time!!
Let’s start a new game, now that the Random Character Combo Challenge is over! In this Promotional BnHA Bingo we’ve collected many tropes and topics that appear to be common in the fandom.
To win the game you need to:
Find a line - horizontal, vertical or diagonal - all 5 spaces in which can be filled with your current works. Unless the prompt specifically states what it should be, it doesn’t matter if it’s a fanart or a fanfic.
Create a post with links to your works, letting us know which boxes you’re claiming! You can draw the filled out card or just list them next to your work.
Either submit the compilation to us, add it to a reblog of this post, or post it yourself and mention @league-of-creators.
If you complete the Promo Bingo, you’ll get a congratulatory card!
Yes, you don’t need to create new works for this promo bingo, only give proof of already existing ones.
What is this bingo promoting, you may ask? Why, a full-fledged BnHA Bingo, of course! One where you DO need to create new artworks, and sign up, and keep to a schedule, and where completion will net you badges and other prizes!. It will be organized by this very blog, with sign-ups scheduled to open soon after the promo bingo finishes, so keep an eye out! ;)
If you’ve got questions, comments or suggestions, you can contact the blog, or one of the mods here on Tumblr, or join our Discord server using the link below:

Bingo example + FAQ
The bingo game is on, and our mod, @randumbdaze, has provided her own completed bingo card to serve as an example!
Canon compliant (this merely means that the fanwork shouldn’t directly contradict current BnHA canon)
One of Ao3’s top ten ships (you can see the top ten ships by going to BnHA’s tag on Ao3 and clicking the “Relationships” tab on the right)
OT3/multiship
Incorrect quotes comic (should be based on a quote from a popular source that is not BnHA)
Screencap redraw (this can include both anime and manga redraws, but not manga colouring)
Someone drawn in a UA uniform
Free space (this can be any fanwork of yours, but there has to be something here)
Bakugou Katsuki swears a lot
Someone drawn in their hero costume
Based off another fanwork
Made in a collab
Adorable Midoriya Izuku (any Izuku that was drawn/written with the intention of provoking an "awww" reaction counts)
(some commentary for squares that weren’t included: “Mineta Minoru doesn’t exist” should be a tag in the fanwork, mere omission of this character doesn’t count. Villain versions of hero characters do count for “Villain-centric”)
Important note #1 : You can mark completed squares in any way you want, or not at all. Instead of an edited bingo card you can send us the list of squares you’re claiming and we’ll make one for you!
Important note #2 : While Mod Maddie’s fills are all art, both fics and art can count for all squares except the ones that contain direct references to what type of work it should be (for example, “Screencap redraw” or “Chatfic”)
Important note #3 : One work can count for more than one square in this Promo Bingo! (not so much in the future proper one)

Hello, I love your ideas! :D What's the difference between the promo bingo and the actual bingo? Also, the discord link in the post has expired :(
Oops! Here’s a link that should work ^^’ https://discord.gg/2xS5gE7
You can enter the promo bingo with existing works. They can be sketches or drabbles, and there is no schedule or signups or anything tricky like that. It’s meant to be just a fun, easy-to-enter thing to prep people for the official bingo, which we’re hoping to hold from the start of July (signups) to the month of August (creation period). :)
Our official BnHA Bingo will have signups for a month. Once participants have signed up, they will be given one of several existing bingo cards, and then aim to get bingo during the following month by creating new, unique works for each prompt! These works will have to be a certain level of polished, and must be done before the end of the month.
Because the Official Bingo requires more commitment, you will also be getting more prizes– as of now we are planning on doing badges for each line of bingo completed, and a unique thank you card for anyone who gets blackout (all squares).
I hope that answers your question! :)

For the promo bingo: Do all of the works have to be polished? Or can sketches and drabbles be counted too?
Sketches and drabbles count too for the promo bingo! For the actual bingo, works will need to be more polished to qualify :)

Avablook’s final entry for the combo challenge! Congrats for finishing, avablook!
Bugged
I’m late! But here’s my final entry for @league-of-creators‘s Random Character Combo Challenge!
Day 5: Neito Monoma and Kouji Kouda
Read on AO3 [here]!
The weather was beautiful. The sun was out, it was warm but not too warm, and the squirrels and birds were running about the UA campus without a care in the world. Aizawa had let 1-A take their free period outside to enjoy the day, and they were spread across the campus studying or socializing.
There was just one thing ruining the day.

Karaoke
For day 4 of @league-of-creators‘s Random Character Combo Challenge!
Day 4: Present Mic (Hizashi Yamada) and Midnight (Nemuri Kayama)!
Read it on AO3 [here]!
Hizashi was still grading papers when Nemuri came in. He loved his students, he really did, but most of their English was atrocious.
“Almost done?” Nemuri asked, poking her head into her office.
“Nope!” Hizashi said. “But I’m ready to get out of here anyway!”

True Manliness
Day 3 of @league-of-creators‘s Random Character Combo Challenge! I felt like throwing up writing Mineta’s POV but that’s what makes it a challenge, right?
Day 3: Minoru Mineta and Eijirou Kirishima
Read it on AO3 [here]!
Mineta had been expecting the common room to be empty. After all, it was the middle of the day on a weekend; everyone was out enjoying the weather, or visiting their families.
