Appreciation for the beautiful girly-girl with a blunt streak and a watchable personality, Leah Miller. She's not currently active in the entertainment world, so this is an archive blog of sorts. Let's celebrate a badass Canadian icon!

Definitely miss those days!
I really miss MOD
does anyone else miss MOD? It was a fun show
oh, by the way MOD stands for Much On Demand. It’s basically the Canadian version of Total Request Live (TRL)
I basically grew up with MOD and the VJs they had. I may not be able to remember all their names, but i remember them.
I miss watching my favourite bands/singers being interviewed and then walking outside to see the crowds of fans that have formed
do you guys remember Matte Babel, Leah Miller, Hannah Simone, Hannah Sung, and Devon Soltendieck? ‘cause i do. Devon was my favourite <3
Nowadays all we have is New.Music.Live with these new VJs that came out of nowhere. *sigh* my childhood is slipping away.

So CTV thinks Leah Miller can host
By Basem Boshra
And lest you think that Miller got the ultra-high-profile gig purely because of her admittedly pretty face, CTV, in its release trumpeting Miller’s hire, takes great pains to head that assumption off at the pass: “A music and dance aficionado, Miller tapped into the dance world at a young age when she was enrolled in baby ballet class. Miller won the title of “Miss Junior Dance of Canada” when she was 13 and danced competitively until the age of 16. That experience gives her first hand knowledge of the hard work and dedication it takes to become a competitive dancer. Miller has huge respect for dancers at the level the series demands. Her passion for the fine arts and previous hosting and interviewing experience prepares her for this exciting leap into her latest gig.” So there! (I’m actually being needlessly sarcastic here. Prurient interests aside, Miller is actually one of the more bearable of the Much VJs, ably handling interviews with some of the biggest acts on the planet while tween-agers scream relentlessly in the background – that’s no easy feat.) (Montreal Gazette, April 2008)

Much Done
Bell Media lays off 91 employees, including personality Leah Miller
One of the most polarizing personalities in MuchMusic history has been let go. Leah Miller, who joined MuchMusic as a VJ in 2004 and went on to host eTalk and So You Think You Can Dance Canada was cut from the roster as part of recent layoffs by Bell Media, the parent company of MuchMusic, and MTV, according to online reports. Miller spent years as the target of online ridicule over rumours she allegedly had plastic surgery and Botox treatments. (The Peterborough Examiner, 2014)
