How do you get yourself to draw so often?
I take breaks! If you force yourself to continuously draw despite not feeling up to it, you're more likely to burn out! Instead of drawing, I'll play building games and usually spend my time designing rooms and such! It's still an artistic facet, one that I enjoy doing, so taking a break to do something like that for a bit allows me to get back into drawing easily once im feeling ready.

Her name is Alma. She's my little girl.
Last night, she went to bed crying from hunger again. She whispered, “Daddy, I’m hungry…” And I had nothing to give her. Just silence. Just pain.
My name is Fayez, a father of three children, and we live in Gaza.
We are living under siege and starvation. The occupation blocks food and aid from reaching us. There’s no access to clean water, no electricity, and now we are facing a real famine. People especially children are dying from hunger.
I was injured in the war. But what hurts more is watching my children slowly waste away, while the world turns its face away.
💔 This is not just a message it's a desperate cry for help. From Gaza… to any human heart that still beats with compassion.
We don’t ask for luxury. We beg for basic survival: A meal. Clean water. A chance to live.
🙏 Please if you can donate. And if you can’t, share this message. Let someone, somewhere, hear us. Before it’s too late.

hello hi!!! it's me who asked about the value mapping -> colour theory again... i hope it's ok for me to ask another thing, i just really love your work argndfngdsfg (really no worries if not, your advice before is already plenty!!)
Anyways, I wanted to ask, what was/is your process for studying the human form? What i really admire about your character drawings is how complex and grounded they are, yet they have so much life and personality to them without losing form. It's really inspiring.. just looking at your work i can feel like a strong foundation beneath the characterization and it's v awesome...
i'm currently trying to improve studying anatomy, but i struggle to know what direction to go. My understanding of figures is very gestural, and i struggle to draw complex characters because i haven't studied anatomy enough. How did you go about learning skeletal structure, muscles, etc, without your characters/figures becoming stiff and sort of... idk what the word would be, medical? What was your learning process (ex, going muscle by muscle, doing everything at the same time, just a lot of longer figure drawings)?
Not super sure how to phrase that question, i hope i make sense... and sorry for the long message! Hope you have a wonderful day and keep making awesome stuff :)
Hello! Please feel free to ask any and all questions you like, I'm happy to give my input. To start off with, I want to recommend some resources that I think would be helpful to you.
Figure Drawing: Design and Invention by Michael Hampton.
WillWestonStudio
Imagine FX Presents: How to Draw and Paint Anatomy
When I first started learning anatomy, I would choose one part of the body—like an arm or leg—and repeatedly break that appendage down until it became easy for me to put everything back together. Doing this helped me learn what I could simplify and what I needed to keep in order to retain the likeness of the limbs form.
Knowing when you can to simplify things, and when you shouldn't, became really important when studying. One of the best methods for me in understanding how to combine form with gesture, is to take a photo of somebody in an interesting pose, and try to draw out—draw over—where the line of action flows through the figure. From there, you can highlight how the form or structure is situated around it. This is where understanding when to simplify things comes into play. Simplifying main structural points like the torso or hips into planes/shapes can make mapping out your form a lot easier without sacrificing the integrity of the pose.
Figure Drawing is another good way of practicing this. Line of Action is a really good site that supplies various photos from which you can choose from and study.
This is what worked for me specifically, though. I recommend watching any of the videos below if you want a more in-depth explanation on some of the things I mentioned.

I don’t know if anyone has asked you this yet, but what are some of the artists that inspire you? I’m really curious
Hello! My biggest artist inspirations are Léa Pinto, Angela Sung, Yun Ling, Anthony Brault, Aliya Chen, Aaron Hong, Nacho Molina, Paul Sabado, Yuhki Demers, Joaquin Belisario, Jacki Li, Laurel Leslie, Nikita Chan and Alberto Mieglo.
It is likely that I am forgetting some in this list, but these are the main ones that come to mind.^

URGENT HELP SAVE THE LIFE OF MY CHILD.
Dear humanity,
Please Help Me – My Son May Die at Any Moment.
I'm Amal, a mother of three children, living under the weight of the genocide taking place in Gaza. 🍉
Here’s my story, and I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart 💔✨, hoping someone will feel what my family and I are going through.
My son is suffering from a severe and life-threatening injury after being shot by Israeli drones. He urgently needs medical treatment outside Gaza.
Time is running out, and we are facing a critical situation. I am asking for your generosity to help us save him either through a donation or by sharing this urgent plea with others
I beg you, i kiss your feet, to help my son. My son may die at any moment.
I lost most of my family. I'm afraid to lose my son too 🥺
Mohammed deserves to live a happy and healthy life, just like every other child on this earth.
So I humbly ask you to donate even a little or at least reblog this appeal.

You mention studying artists alot, how do you do that?
I study by observation and then application! A lot of my time is spent breaking down other artists' works and cross-referencing their environments with similar real-life photography in order to understand how they went about implementing their own techniques into their pieces.
This helps me train my eyes to seek out ways I can replicate, stylize, or simplify things in my own pieces without jeopardizing the subject of my drawing!
Then, you can try applying different learned techniques in your own pieces to see which best suits your vision! I sometimes switch out different ways of rendering depending on how I want to portray what I'm drawing^^

How did you learn perspective so fast bro…pls help us peasants
Depending on your program, sometimes there can be a perspective ruler in the settings that is really useful for outlining where your vanishing point is in proximity to everything else! If that is not available, I recommend making your own vanishing point and creating a grid of lines leading out, putting it on lower opacity, and then drawing over that layer and using it as a guideline.
If you want a more in-depth guide on perspectives, I suggest watching "Introduction To Perspective" by David Finch on YouTube. If that video doesn't work for you, try "Everything about Perspective & Correct Mathematical use of Vanishing Points | Perspective Drawing" by PhipsArt.
Another way you can practice with Perspective is by taking a real photograph of a structure and focusing on identifying the Vanishing point/Horizon line within the picture. Learning where everything lines up and adjusting your eyes to naturally seek out where the supposed Vanishing point would be in the photo will help immensely when it comes to creating your own scenes with Perspective.

Hello! I geniuenly love your art! Augh its so good. The environment and the story telling... You're what I want to be in the future. Have you ever thought of starting a youtube channel to post speedpaints etc?
Hello! I can not put into words how overjoyed this makes me feel. Thank you so much, I wish you the best of luck in your art journey!! As for a YouTube channel, I actually do have one! I just forget about it the majority of the time since I rarely use it. I have recorded some of my pieces (when I remember to) and uploaded them onto my Twitter. I'll start uploading them more to my YouTube channel as well if you're interested! My channel is the same as here, Leapfog1 !!
