She recoiled, and shook her head. "Ew. Nevermind, that sounds wrong. Just call me Liddy." They'd just met, and she wasn't entirely sure that an employer would ever count as friends, but the such formalities made her bristle enough not to care. Maybe she'd drop the lady going forward. Made her sound too important, when all she did was swing a big sword around extremely well.
"Why the hell do you want to go there? she asked bluntly. "You're basically going to die if you don't have someone with you. Which of course is what I'm for, but still. Are you one of those people who walk around when they sleep or something? What are they called...?" Fadewalkers and dreamers were not exactly well-known. Qunari mages had good reasons for keeping to themselves, so Liddy only went off what she heard in snippets here and there.

Their sword is quite imposing, and Roland boggles at it in a most-obvious turn of face.
"Lady Lydia," greets Roland warmly, notwithstanding, and accepts her clasped hand within the both of his callused own, all Wood-work'd and welcoming. "I am Roland. Faire tidings and Merry 'noon to thee!
"Yea, a Place fraught with malevolent spirits and sum traps, for 'tis a ruin with which I aspire to adjourn," says Roland, albeit bashfully; walkings amidst the Fade and all her terrible miscommunications art far and betwixt the Idea of commonplace.
He shrugs simply. "Hast thou heard of the Exalted Plains?"

Somehow, the woman had become all the more beautiful by the end, flushed and out of breath. Liddy had tasted stars on her lips. She was loath to let Haleth go too quickly, keeping an arm loosely about her waist in a request to stay.
And at Haleth's sudden return to that formal tone, Liddy barks out a laugh. The woman can compose herself with the speed of a racehorse, it seems, while she was stuck with a wide, starstruck grin. Was she in love? Just drunk on sex? Did it matter?
"I haven't decided yet. Before dawn, either tomorrow or the day after if I want to look for work in town." Liddy presses a kiss to Haleth's shoulder, then pauses to glance up at the moon."Today? I lost track of everything but you."
~
As their bodies settle, the rippling of the water is a stark echo of the force of the Knights entanglement. Haleth's pallid face burns crimson, her blood to boil and her body to sweat from the steam of the springs and the vigor of their romance.
She leans to catch her breath, those blown and starry pupils in watch of the woman before her, more beautiful than she could ever be, yet not as disheveled as herself; though she cannot see it she is certain her skin is reddened, softened like a ripe peach awaiting a bruise.
"A woman of your word." She says, voice returned to something more formal, far from the hushed moans that announced her rather hastened peak minutes earlier. "How long again did you say you were staying?"

It's almost impossible to keep her eyes shut as Roland goes on. She wants to leap up and demand he go get his costumes right this instant, but manages to fidget impatiently in the chair instead. "I'm going to weep," Liddy deadpans, and proceeds to do nothing of the sort. "Please tell me you have pictures, babe! I have to see you in full glam."
She was imagining any number of things -- wigs that added two feet to his height, glitter everywhere, a false chest that somehow made him hotter than he already was... Let it never be said Liddy didn't find her friends, or breasts, extremely attractive. "Are you done yet? I want to hear about your drag days. Nights? Whatever."

He paints her eyes with a soft brush, flat and short, and is delicate as he spreads the pigment of that brilliant hue onto her pallid skin; tapping the excess powder off the side of the shadow tablet so that it dabbles easily into the mouth of her sink.
"Doth I!" mentions he cheerfully, and deliberates with the adequateness of those shapes, the curve of her eye sockets and those natural polyhedrons. "Naught as oft as were I a younger fellow, but, the costumes art still within my van, and doth I keep tabs upon all those friends found within those cluttered dressing rooms. The stories couldst I regale thee," says Roland fondly.
"Do not dare begin to weep, my spike-throat'd Beauty, I am painting a masterpiece," breathes he, and snorts with his sudden laughter.

These tables are meant for humans, not her. Her knees are going to bang up against the underside, and she's going to feel like an idiot. But she does herself, detaching her blade's sheath and resting it across the table before making herself comfortable with a false air of casual coolness.
The man before her was handsome enough, if you liked that sort of thing, and clearly not made for melee. Upon sizing him up, Liddy guessed he could be a rogue, or a mage perhaps, but she was sure she'd be able to take him down in a minute if need be -- assuming he knew how to fight at all.
"Lady Lydia Rose, at your service. Friends call me Liddy." Or they would, if she had any friends. She held out one massive hand for him to shake. "And you're going off somewhere dangerous, I assume?"

The stark sound of keratin knocking upon olde wood hast Roland to start from his studies, his satchel beside his seated hip in this private booth whilst a tome of Brother Genitivi's writings art bound to Roland's opulent curiosity, within his gentled hands.
He winces at that second plonk, hissing in his empathy, and comes aground the surprise whence that tall, broad Person comes forth to him.
"Ah!" remembers he, snapping his book to pause. For the last three days hast Roland bolstered of his Need for a Protector, an Individual with rumored Rites of swinging swords, bashing shields, and slicking knives in that lusty dance of practiced fighting; for naught is Roland so prepared, not in front of the eternal flame of his Scholarly pursuits.
"I am!" greets he, and offers the chair in front of him in a noble Gesture. "Prithee, join me?"

ooc. RULES UPDATE.
This was a problem before my year-long hiatus, and is starting to become a problem again, so I want to nip it in the bud. Thus, I'm adding two new rules to the blog:
Please DNI if you have 'Freaks DNI' in your rules. This character is a sex worker who specializes in heavy kink/RACK/BDSM. Freak behavior will occur. That being said...
REGARDING KINK: I will never pressure anyone into writing or plotting what they aren't comfortable with, especially kink scenarios. That being said, they are still central to Liddy's character. If this makes you uncomfortable, please follow at your own discretion
