I’m a real completionist, so even though I haven’t finished every class story yet, I try to complete planets to a certain degree with every run through I do. At first I was like “oh this OC would look for datacrons, and this one would look for lore objects”, etc. I gave up on that bc I would get distracted and miss some planets and it’s kinda funny making like force-blind OCs go looking for datacrons and being Very Disgruntled About It but for whatever reason doing it anyhow.

Oooooooh okay this is a great one. Quick Answers are: Bel would, without hesitation, Vits thinks she would, Thomsyn would, with a lot more hesitation than Bel. Montym could never nor would Donahelm. Libitinae, and Mihailis it would depend on when in their personal journeys the option happened.

For Deeper Answers: 

Bel was actually about to kill Theron mid-Nathema Conspiracy. When Theron showed up again, if it hadn’t been for the part of Bel that needed answers, Theron would have been dead there and then. He still thought about killing him afterwards, but by then it was more for himself than the greater good. Theron was very, very lucky they needed him on Nathema, and had time to explain his actions. I’ll eventually post the fic for it lol. Bel sacrifices everything about himself and his life for what he perceives to be the greater good, and people he cares about fall into that category. If the good of the Empire had ever asked that his family die...well they wouldn’t have shown up on Odessen. He would feel immense guilt about it, but he’d do it. And he would have done it personally, because he views it as his duty. He wouldn’t let anyone do his own dirty work, which is why he wouldn’t let Lana kill Theron for him. In his mind he chose this job, so he has to be willing to pay the price, and kill the people he cares about if necessary.

He did actually choose Vette over Torian, even though he was closer to Torian, bc he knew Torian could hold his own and his position longer than Vette as a Mandalorian. It hurt my heart, but Bel would do it again.

Vits thinks she could, but would have a very hard time actually doing it. Thomsyn would have to do it for her, and would. Thomsyn isn’t quite as nihilistic as Bel, but she is also in the habit of self-sacrifice, and she is willing to do what needs to be done. They wouldn’t be able to kill each other, or Lana, but one of their crew members or someone in the Alliance...Vits would try, not be able to, and Thomsyn would finish the job. Vits thinks she should be able to as a Sith, but as a Sith one of her biggest things is thriving off emotion, and unlike some, that makes her a bit susceptible to them, rather than just using them. Her older sister Dapatica did her best to train her out of the habit but it didn’t take. Vits wasn’t even able to kill Malavai, even if she had had a better reason than personal revenge it would have been hard for her. 

Other/Less Developed OCs under the cut bc I couldn’t help myself.

Montym and Donahelm, my BH, are incapable of it. Too soft-hearted, and too used to finding their own way through. Montym more than Dona would feel a lot of guilt if, in the end, he couldn’t find an alternative. But they’re both so used to being able to find alternatives by their sheer skill, wit, and power, that they wouldn’t even consider killing a friend or family member for the greater good.

Libitinae, my Knight, and Mihailis, my trooper, both go through huge personal journeys in their class stories. Lib’s starts out in a mindspace where she would, and she becomes real cynical and cares more about her people by the end, and at that point couldn’t. Mihailis does sort of the opposite journey, where she goes from optimistic about saving everyone, to doing whatever is necessary to just finish the job. There are certain people off limits, but she just doesn’t feel anything about murder anymore, at that point.
