Drew one of my four (three?) WoF OCs for art fight! My profile

His mother is Sturgeon, a SeaWing sent out to look for Fathom and Indigo after their sudden disappearance. His father is Timebringer, a NightWing doctor working on a temporary settlement as the NightWings try to regroup after scattering. I haven't fleshed out his story much outside of how his parents met, but I thought a half NightWing hybrid born shortly after Darkstalker's whole thing would be interesting!

He always looks sad and tired, even when he's happy. He's timid, has amazing night vision, and likes to relax in the darkest parts of the sea when stressed out. I might give him very weak future sight on full moons, but I'm not sure yet. I'm also open to any questions or suggestions about him and his parents :]

"Clay is muscular, large, burly, and stocky, with a sloping back, a thick, lengthy neck, a large, broad head, and white teeth. He is the largest of the dragonets of destiny...Clay's scales are a warm brown in the shades of rich mahogany and tree bark, along with undertones of glowing amber, clay, and gold glinting between and beneath his scales.

He has enormous feet and thick brown claws, as well as mud-colored, massive, strong brown wings and wide, warm brown eyes. His right thigh is scarred from a dragonbite viper laceration, and he has a permanent limp."

Ignore the color difference of the scales, I decided to change them in his drawing after not saving the layers of this. Also pretend the harder, darker scales are there

"Dune had extraordinarily powerful sandy-yellow wings and flashing black eyes. His wing was further destroyed...leaving a long scar running through it and causing it to trail crookedly beside his body. He also lost his foot, leaving only a foreleg stump, and he wore an oddly shaped stone around his neck that served as a key..."

"Webs has blue-green scales and wings as well as a long tail and body. He is heavy and large...and has a scar on his side near his tail...He is shivering and elderly."

"Kestrel had jewel-hard, red-gold scales the color of rust and flames. She had orange-yellow eyes, as well as a red tail, wings and talons. Her tongue was described to be forked. She was enormous...She had several odd scorch marks across her palms...as well a burn mark on her cheek."

"Burn had pale yellow and pale golden scales that...were covered with jagged scars, one of which was a particularly vicious burn along the majority of the flank under her left wing. Her obsidian-black eyes had no white in them at all...She was massive...with long talons...Her claws and teeth were stained from all of the blood she had shed."

Are you gonna incorporate some headcanons into your designs? That'd be neat. Making Seawings have axolotl traits is a personal one of mine. Or are you gonna stick straight to canon?

I'm mostly sticking to canon, but there will probably be some headcanons here and there! Like Orca is meant to just be green, but I can't help but picture her as dark blue-green and white. I also want to find a way to make Kestrel slightly resemble a kestrel bird

Slowly working on drawing every Wings of Fire character in order by which they're mentioned/introduced :,) I don't have a set schedule so I may go a while without posting!
