so, i think im comprehending this correctly, in the placeholders au, the ancients have the Original soul jam titles of the virtues?

Omg, I'm so excited to answer questions about my au!! Thanks so much for asking! :D

The ancients do inherent the original soul jams. The heroes also try to stick to their predecessors' titles too, if only in fear of angering the witches and meeting the same fate as the beasts.

Except, whether or not it's easy for the hero to follow their roles varies from hero to hero. For example, Golden Cheese Cookie's Light of Abundance in the og premise fits well with Light of Change. Her kingdom is the most technologically advanced - thriving with constant improvement and change. While White Lily Cookie, who originally relates to Light of Freedom, struggles much more with the Light of Solidarity. Forced to rule over the kingdom despite her wishes to explore. With some of her subjects even resenting her for taking the place of the former ruler whom they were loyal to.

Placeholder Au - Fount of Knowledge - Pure Vanilla Cookie

Or what if, instead of earning their souljams through heroic acts, the Ancient Cookies were created by the Witches as temporary wielders.

Believing the Beast Cookies can change, the humans crafted the Ancients to hold the complete Souljams until the rightful owners return to reclaim them.

Seeing how much the benevolent Fount of Knowledge enjoyed puppetry, the witches - every so graciously - gifted him a doughy pupppet to take care of.

And what a puppet he was!

Even in the absence of Shadow Milk Cookie, Pure Vanilla Cookie played the role perfectly - so perfectly, in fact, that he deceived - no, convinced - his entire Kingdom (and himself) that he had always been the true Fount of Knowledge.

(Teacher or family au basically, lol. This is just a brief concept of him. Let me know if I should continue :>)

It was so difficult redesigning this cookie, (bro has zero clothes to work with TT) but I'm kinda glad how he turned out!! :D

Read "Sequestered Light" by @itsabouttimex2 (Super awesome work, btw, would love to see some more about it but only if OOP wishes to make tho), a few weeks back, and it's basically what got me into Cookie Run Kingdom! :P

The work also reminded me of a short cartoon I watched when I was a kid about a wolf kidnapping -> adopting a calf, and I had to draw it because I think it suits so much! TT

Finally, I decided to download the game and try it out. I really liked it so I made a little art piece!

I don't know if it's beginner's luck, but the gacha system has been very rewarding so far! Khem- if you allow me to brag:

I got Mystic Flour, Awakaned Dark Cacao, Pure Vanilla, White Lily and Burning Spice Cookies in a week of playing, lol my luck on genshin could never..TT

Anyway, I hope White Lily's gonna be okay. It looks like she's been through a lot :,)
