INSIDE TITLE ART REVEAL! This took me 6.5 hours total 😅 Im working on other inside illustrations as well as the cover now that I'm in the beta reading/editing phase. What do you think?

“It was monstrous.”

“It was glorious.” The energy pressed down harder; Ash held steady not buckling underneath it.

“Glorious?” Ash scoffed, his voice low and filled with disdain. “It wasn’t me.” The grip on his arms tightened, as if physically holding himself together.

“Oh, but it was you, Ash. The ‘you’ they’ve always wanted—the ‘you’ you’ve always denied.”

Ash shook his head, his green eyes glowing faintly in the darkness as he glared toward the figure. “It was not me. It was... desperation.”

“Desperation,” the Entity mused, its tone

dripping with mockery. “Isn’t it fascinating how

desperation reveals the truth? In that moment,

you didn’t hesitate. You didn’t stop to calculate

or question. You acted. You killed. So tell me,

Ash, how did it feel?”

He remained silent, but the question lingered, sinking its fangs into his thoughts. How did it feel?

Today I wrote about... 4k words? But before that I stared at my screen for a few hours. I was having a day of frustration. I just couldn't get a specific scene I had in my head to translate into words today. As much as I tried to skip it and come back to it I couldn't.

Its really hard for me to walk away from projects I'm working on, I get very focused very quickly on things I'm trying to complete. But I was successful in peeling myself away for a bit, escaping to watch The Office and eat some hashbrowns.

When I came back I was finally able to weave the words in a better way, I'm sure I'll have to go back and edit again but I'm happy with how it came out :)

It seems small, but that's a big battle won for me and something I've worked so hard on in all aspects of my life.

I know this is the website where we talk about artists and writers doing anything other than making art or writing, but man, we REALLY undersell how good it feels to actually work on your stuff.

Like you hit your word count for the first time in a week and its like
