Enjoyed this article from The Escapist, but mostly for these two lines:

I don’t think it will bring it back but simply to show the importance and love that these sort of shows. Like the representation showed and the amazing story telling. Just so these corporations know that a large audience WANTS SHOWS LIKE THIS.

I was just rewatching episode 4 of season 1 and I got to the bit where Ed’s all like “What if Blackbeard turned up dead” and he’s talking about killing Stede and taking his place. Then he says “My name’s Stede Bonnet I’m a wealthy landowner.” And I just.

What was he planning on doing? Seriously. Did he just think he could go live Stede’s life?? Like, go to Stede’s house, knock on the door, and then when Mary answers it, saying “Oh yeah, I’m your husband, I just got a tan, a lower voice, a beard, and a ton of tattoos now.”

Edward, what was the plan here???
