Pokeask Summer Beach Event

Hey guys! As I mentioned before, I'm hosting a summer event for the Pokemon askblog community. This one is going to be super casual where I won't really have to "host" and there won't be much aside from just enjoying the beach!

Things to do at the beach could include:

Swimming

Building sand castles

Sea shell hunting

Sunbathing

Beach volleyball

BBQing/fancy drinks

Surfing

Diving

Etc

If you’re interested in joining this casual event, all you gotta do is tag your posts with #pokebeachday2025 and reblog this post so anyone can see who’s attending! So dress your OCs in their best swimwear and come enjoy some fun in the sun!

The event will last August 1st to September 1st but can be extended if desired ❤️ see you at the beach! 🏖️ feel free to ask me any questions you have!

The sight of the familiar woman froze Zeke to his core. Not a day went by where he didn't think about their time spent at the Gala. The way she trusted him and then pain in her eyes as he attempted to feed off her life energy. He'd always known he was a monster, but his victims were never able to shove that fact in his face before. It had always been quick and unknowing. They'd be in stone before they had even known what was happening. But this time... he made a mistake.

As Reshi hurled balls of flames at him, Zeke couldn't bring himself to move. How could he? After what he put her through, he didn't deserve to dodge. Flames scorched his clothes, body, and face with each through she cast. He winced at the searing pain with each one, but his feet did not waver from their place.

"You think you can take the easy way out?!?"

"You don't get to forget what you did to me!!! You don't get to die and forget my damned name!! My face?!"

Zeke's chest stung with the words she spat at him. Forget? It was all that weighed on his mind! It was-

"WHAT WAS I TO YOU?!"

This question stunned him. Without thinking, his voice barely a whisper, he finally spoke.

"I-"

Before more could escape his lips, her weapon rushed at him, sweeping his feet. The weight of her figure on top of his slammed his bones to the barren earth. Blade inches from his neck, threatening to end him if he moved.

"YOU DONT GET TO HOLD MY HEART THEN DESTROY ME AS IF WE WERE NOTHING ZEKROM!!!!"

Zekrom? A sense of clarity rushed over Zeke. Not only had he betrayed her after winning her trust, but he dug up past betrayal from another this pale woman had given her heart to. Zeke was scum. He's hurt so many in his selfishness and none deserved it. The pain he's caused was all for his desire to live, and he'd done anything to achieve it.

His eyes met hers for the first time since her arrival. His voice hesitant and shaky, he finally spoke.

"I..." His words more fragile than he meant them to be. "I never meant to kill you.."

What a ridiculous thing to say. Here was the woman who nearly met a stone cold end, and he was saying it was an accident? She may be the God of truth but even she would find this hard to believe.

"It just... hits me, and I need to feed. I didn't. No, I did, but not because -" he wasn't making sense and he didn't even know where to begin to explain his demons.

He looked away, taking a breath of the smoky air.

"I've hurt many in attempts to survive." He finally made a coherent sentence. "I selfishly choose myself over others, and many seek a just revenge.."

Eyes meeting hers once more, he lifts his body from the ground. The blade slicing his neck as he did so. His face drawn closer to hers, pure truth dripping from his lips.

"But I can't die. No. I won't die. At least not yet." His eyes full of shame. "I owe it to someone to live this life she gave to me.."

As Reshi stepped towards Zeke, she wondered why he wasn’t moving?!

“Scared?” She snarled. “How does it feel to be in my position?!” Flames erupted with her voice, catching easily on the dead brush around them. The glow was hot, a bright orange that danced across both legends.

“What’s the matter Ezekiel?! Can’t devour my energy now that I know what you are?!” A ball of flames appeared in one hand. “You make me sick.” She hurled the ball of fire at him, watching the taller man take the hit without any hesitation.

Reshi scowled. This wasn’t how she expected him to act. For as villianous as his actions were, he didn’t move out of the way? A growl left her throat.

“Damnit!! You coward!!!” Another ball of flames hurled. “You think you can take the easy way out?!?” Another. “You don’t get to forget what you did to me!!! You don’t get to die and forget my damned name!! My face?! WHAT WAS I TO YOU?!”

The blades of her trident shone, and without a moment’s notice she dashed forward, swiping his feet from under him with a slash. Before he could move from under her reach, the blades of her trident pinned him to the ground, and she knelt above him seething hot with anger.

Her chest tightened, a flicker of pain across her own features.

That wasn’t right. His name was Ezekiel. Reshi gave him a long stare, boring down into his soul. She still held fast, not letting him gain any purchase to escape. “Why?! Why did you attempt to kill me at that damned gala?!” The question was screeched out into the deserted wood.

Hey guys! It’s Blue (Mod) and I just wanted to put out there that I plan to do a little summer event in August! It’ll be super chill and just a beach episode so if you’re interested, I’ll be making a post about it later on. I just wanted an excuse to put my OCs in swimsuits lmao

(@lightofunova)Reshi@Zeke: The fogs were hard to see through, shrouding each figure in the lifeless forest that Reshi walked through. At least, until a man swathed in reds and greys came into view. Something within her chest began to break. A instinct that told her to run, danger was ahead. And then anger replaced it.

“It’s you…YOU!” Flames ablaze, the legend summoned her weapon. “I swore to myself that when we crossed paths again I would burn you to a husk!!” Hear surged as her ivory strands reflected her anger. Glimpses of flowers and sweet words burned into her memory only acted as fuel.

“If you think I’m some innocent flower that will curl up and die under your thumb again then let me correct your quill! I am not who you ever thought I was! Let that be the last truth I allow you to hear treacherous cur!!”

Reshi challenges Zeke to a battle!

A wild Reshi appeared! And she’s pissed.

It seems as though Zeke was caught by surprise! He is unable to move.
