Life has been pretty chaotic lately, full of nothing but work. This season of life is crazy, but I’m making my way through it. Finding gratitude for the short moments of rest and also for the kind of work that I am doing; I am lucky to be doing things that I love to do because not everyone gets to do what they really want to do all day every day. So I am remembering that especially on days when I hit my capacity level. Yoga has been one of the best things to ever present itself in my life. It has challenged me physically, mentally, spiritually, and it has shown me myself; it has helped me find peace in my life amidst the chaos, it has healed me, and it has revealed truth in my life. I have traveled across the ocean because of it and I have made incredible friends that I never thought I’d be able to have, and it has made me cherish and find gratitude for the friendships I had before it. Is everything perfect in my life? Hell no. But it is manageable now, and I have so much more joy and appreciation for all things, “good” or “bad”. I am very thankful to be on this path. I am very grateful for this newfound love I have for life. Exciting things are happening. I can feel and sense how dreams and visions are beginning to unfold and come into fruition. All thanks to the people in my life that have been presented to me along the journey because we have followed our hearts and the things we have felt called to do. Oooh mama is tired already from this week 😬 and it’s only Tuesday. But it’s all good because I know that Sunday is approaching (slowly but surely), and I will be able to fully rest then. Lots, lots, and lots of teaching going on this summer in all sorts of ways: yoga, yoga for kids, teaching movement, voice and diction, character building for theatre, more yoga...PHEW. But it’s a good tired. I’m overflowing with appreciation for all teachers everywhere because it is an unforgiving job but also the most rewarding job. I feel blessed to be doing what I love to do most.🙏🏼❤️ Happy Tuesday, guys! May you all have a wonderful day and if your day is already off to a rough start..:take one breath at a time.
