People like this freak me out, because if you talk this way about a fictional side character who didn't really do anything, ( genuinely. Jesper kisses him, and he's a little cheeky about it. Every other character is a murderer, and that's where you draw the line? he literally doesn't do a thing but lose his dad and get kidnapped) I don't even want to know what you would say about a real person who did something you don't like. I think Kuwei is funny, and I think he's meant to be funny. people who hate on him this much (or any fictional character in general, especially ones who aren't evil) I think genuinely have their mind too wrapped up on fiction for it to be healthy, and it worries me a bit that those lash outs and genuine death and torture threats might not just stop at books.

And again, Kuwei is FIFTEEN YEARS OLD

i think strange and off-putting wylan is the best. you know how he is in those fanfictions where he just. stares. and creeps people out. in the inside, he's having ten different panic attacks, but on the outside it's all just big blue bambi eyes and an entirely unresponsive demeanor. things happen around him and he doesn't react. he doesn't move. he doesn't blink. he just stares. he's weird and there and that's it. jesper instantly needs him carnally and all he did was look at him blankly and ignore him from then on. nina finds him hilarious. matthias finds him a little weird but also the most normal person in the crows. inej gives him a knife to protect himself but he's already got a whole lot of bombs hidden in his little gay satchel that he's told no one about and will bring out in the middle of a random fight where he will romantically lock eyes with jesper and then blow up a bunch of people. kaz glares at him and wylan just looks back without flinching so kaz hires him because how the fuck??? how??

its so baffling to me how many soc fics ive seen like actively choose to ignore/remove wylan’s dyslexia especially one’s that are like. wylan/wesper focused like hello?? don’t be doing that??

when i say that loud noises and crowds bother me, I don't mean that they hurt my ears. I mean that the noise goes into my ears, develops eight pairs of legs, sprints into my brain and immediately explodes into acid that then drips into my chest and runs under my skin but thank you so much for asking

headcanon that a lot of men hit on inej (something she hates). and every single time, without fail, jesper swoops in and flirts right back instead of her. something like:

random man, yelling at inej: nice legs!

inej: i'm g-

jesper: why, thank you! i've been working really hard on them, and i think it shows, don't you?

man: uh, sure, but-

jesper: but you'd think they'd look better without my pants? what an excellent idea!

and so on, until the man eventually grows uncomfortable and walks away. neither inej or jesper ever verbally acknowledge this arrangement, but every night when an incident happens, jesper goes home to find a sparkling, recently polished gun sitting on his bed. whether it's one that he gambled away, or one that he swore was in his holster just a few hours ago, it's always there, without a trace of the mysterious donor.
