A word about Kate Laswell. So many people think of Price/Laswell as canon until they open Wikifandom or or they read the subtitles with special attention, and why the hell should that stop anyone from creating content? We see what we see while we play, and the relationships between characters aren't dry words spoken to the face, but something that can't be conveyed with words alone. So much queer content has been created with canonically straight characters, so why can't the opposite be possible? Most Laswell content only emphasizes that she is a LESBIAN® (even though she could be bi/pan, in a sham marriage, or joking). Almost no headcanon is complete without a mention of her wife, as if Kate herself doesn't exist without her. But she's an interesting person, she's a great spy, she's brave and kind, she's a good sniper, she's responsible, she supports 141 boys in the most deadly situations, she fucking survived a terrorist attack, there's a lot of interesting stuff about her, but people are only interested in details of her intimate life, the amount of hair on her body, the mentions of her lack of hygiene and personal care, and unrealistic muscles for her body type. And I'm incredibly upset that such an interesting character is seen as just a "representation".

Question for those in Dark Souls community, who calls/believes Gwyndolin being a girl: why? Do you have any reasons, your way of understanding the lore, or that’s just a headcanon?

Dark Souls community in my country mostly stands for him being a man, but here on tumblr I see a lot of users calling him a girl.

When I noticed it, I dug into the lore of the game once more, and everything leaded me to the idea of Gwyndolin being a man _forced_ to live a girl’s life. The ring, moon magic and so on, you know.
