I've Kissed Too Many Cold Faces Goodbye, a RDR2 Fan-fiction

I have an unhealthy attachment to RDR2 and am following in the footsteps of many a 20-something-year-old woman before me and returning to the things I loved in junior high. For me, that's regretfully writing fan-fiction. IKTMCFG follows original character Mildred Gideon, a new face in Valentine after her father's death led her to look for work. She happens into town in May 1899, on the footsteps of a certain gang starting anew. Encounters with these outlaws, particularly Arthur Morgan and Javier Escuella, leave Gideon grappling at her conflicting views of morality, her dreams, and her heart. This story loosely follows the canon events of RDR2 and the setting of 1899 America. As per the setting, it contains violence, death, sexism, racism, and no promises of happy endings.
