Rewatching the pilot and noticed that in later episodes of the show N stopped wearing his binder all the time congrats on not getting a spinal injury king!!!

...butttt while I do know this probably just like a camera angle thing, going with my trans hc my explanation for this is that he wore it all the time before bc due to everything else going on at that time, satiating his dysphoria was one of his only means of comfort.

But after getting closer with Uzi and V, he started taking care of himself more and started to only wear it periodically and taking it off once it began to hurt. With Uzi and V, he didnt feel the need to prove himself, he knew that they knew him as what he is and that security made him more comfortable with himself.

He ddidnt need to prove he was a guy with them, he knows they love and accept him and see him as who he really is. He no longer doubts his validity based off how well he passes.
