@zion176 Thanks! And yeah, Flora definitely shares recipes!

She’s not great at cooking herself. But she loves good food, so she collected old recipes from various places: the ruins of Hyrule Castle, Wild’s experiments, and her own memories of past comfort foods.

Whenever Flora has the chance, (assuming Wild’s not around), she persuades one of the other Zeldas to cook for her. Mostly Dot, since she’s the best chef, and has experience baking from her time working at Wheaton and Pita’s shop. Dot has even shared some of Flora’s recipes with Wheaton!

Dot also sometimes hides kinstone pieces (inedible) in Flora’s pastries. It’s okay— Flora knows to take them out from the “eating rocks” conversation earlier :)

What are your settings for procreate? My line art is so pixelated it’s not even funny. Also brush recommendations if you have any. Love your art!!!

Here’s the canvas settings for my Wisdomverse post-TotK Flora/Wild art from earlier. I usually use something like this, or a little smaller if it’s not a full artwork. As for brushes, I use a bunch of heavily customized ones based off of stuff I downloaded so long ago that I no longer remember where I got them. My favorite brush is literally just called, “Good Pencil” lol.

If you feel like your art is pixelated, it could be that your canvas is too small, or it could be that your brush is too sharp— try either using a larger canvas or a “softer” brush, like the ones from the Sketching tab in Procreate.

In the end though, it’s all up to personal taste. My friend Dust, for example, uses only sharp brushes since she prefers the more clear look they give vs the softer, more shaded look from the brushes I use.

You should feel free to try a bunch of things and find what works best for you!

I FINISHED ZELDA 1 TODAY!

I HAVE NOW COMPLETED EVERY SINGLE MAINLINE ZELDA GAME!!!

Journey’s not over yet though— I’m going to at least try the Second Quest of Zelda 1 and see how far I get! It can’t be harder than AoL, right? …Right?

Besides, there’s a whole world of spinoffs, romhacks, and Zelda-likes out there! If anyone’s got any suggestions, I’m all ears. I’ve a few games on my list already, but more can’t hurt :).

Don’t have the Switch 2 yet, but I’m loving the Zelda Notes people have posted online, and this one’s my favorite of the ones I’ve seen so far.

I bet Wild is like 99% sure he and Flora won’t have their clothes stripped off like he did last time he was on Eventide. But just in case, he’s gonna make sure to look away like a true gentleman. And just in case, maybe he shouldn’t say anything…

Flora’s mild, embarrassed exasperation here is so telling— and delightful, considering they’re living together at this point 😆.

(I don’t want to look up all the Zelda Notes so I don’t spoil myself for when I do eventually play the Switch 2 version, but I couldn’t resist clicking into a few :).

This one’s based on a true story!

As a kid, I’d get terrible sore throats all the time, and used to spend a few days unable to talk out of every few months. I used to carry around a notecard to write simple responses on, and I got decent at conveying messages through charades and expressions.

It always felt cool when I managed to anticipate the conversation and have a response to it already written out on my notecard. Though I’ll admit I’ve never predicted a conversation in as detailed a manner as Silent here 😆!

So Mario kart 8 has Hyrule circuit. So I ask, who do you think which Link's Hyrule it is? Personally, I think It's Spirit's, based on the guard's uniform. But it could be Warrior's or Four's.

Despite near 100%-ing Mario Kart DS and Wii, I actually… never played Mario Kart 8 until literally last week, where I tried it out at a friend’s house. It was so cool! And I can now finally answer this!

Firstly, the Link in MK8 is clearly based on Wild and Sky, but I feel like his appearance is closer to Sky, so I’m inclined to think it’s Sky all the way through, and he just wears Wild’s outfit sometimes. This is like how Brawl’s Link is based on Time and Twilight, but his appearance is closer to Twi, so I’m inclined to think he’s Twilight all the way through, just also using some scenes from Time’s past.

The track… it’s a mishmash of eras from what I remember, and I liked it a lot. The track features Hyrule Castle in its prime, which funnily enough rules out both Wild’s and Sky’s era since neither has an active Hyrule Castle. I guess the devs thought Skyloft wouldn’t pander to the old fans enough lol.

I’m inclined to think it’s Wars’ era. The “mishmash of eras” vibe is uniquely Warriors. The uniforms are a good point, but I feel like since the track prominently features the Master Sword, it should rule out both Spirit and Four, as neither of them use that particular blade. Warriors is a good fit— there are even some Spirit Tracks folks in Hyrule Warriors, including Phantom herself.

In conclusion: I think it’s Sky, with Wild’s uniform and bike/paraglider sometimes, and they’re in a version of Wars’ Hyrule Castle.

(No Zelda in MK8, sadly. Sky is out there cart-riding all on his lonesome 🥲.)

(Also no Zelda or Link at all so far in MK World, but who knows? DLC exists— maybe there’ll be a Hyrule Island someday!)

I… just realized I forgot to upload the postgame content for my playthrough of EoW 😅

For the folks who were following along with my Hero Mode | No Bed Heals | No Defense Amulet | No Link Combat run of the game; here’s the final two videos!!!

I had a ton of fun wrapping up quests in the overworld and collecting all the heart pieces— plus that amazing boss rush in the sleep dojo! I love a good refight rush (and I’ll always appreciate more of a connection between Echo and sleep 🛏️😇).

Playing Zelda 1 now makes me appreciate EoW even more for all its clever references <3

Hi, how does that potion stay in the holder? Aside from the bit at the bottom it doesn’t look like there’s much holding it in place. Is it just ✨magic✨?

/nfta!! The realism-focused part of my brain glitched out for a sec when I saw it so I had to ask 😅

The bottle has a attachment made of ancient Holodrum/Subrosian magnets (Oracle of Seasons) that magnetically attracts it to the inside of the holder— so it stays in place when running, but can be pulled out and quaffed quickly when necessary. Echo knew where to find magnets and how they work from stories and legends in her era, and Dawn made the potion holder with them.

This way, Hyrule can always keep one of Dawn’s potions on hand! As a potion-maker, it’s one of Dawn’s ways of telling Hyrule to stay safe :).

I forgot I put that holder there lol. The potion was supposed to just hang from his belt 😆

Tempted to draw a Wild/Flora comparison where Flora’s got organized, precise schematics for a flying Zonai construction, and Wild’s out there sticking 15 rockets to a platform with “no thoughts head empty” in the background.

(Both of their machines work. One’s a little more… volatile than the other, but Wild’s aptly-named “Rockety McRocketface” does go faster!)

(At the end of the day, they both converge on the hoverbike design.)

Hello! Do you have a tiktok? I checked your intro page and i dont think you do..

Im working on a fan animation of Spirit and Phantom using an audio thats fairly popular on tiktok. (Even if it wasnt anymore by the time i finish, i'll still post it.) And i would like to credit you for the designs, however, simply putting your tumblr user and AU name as credits doesnt feel right for me... and there are some users who dont have tumblr, or might not check the caption. I'll put the credits directly in the video when i finish, but i'd still like to know.
