fuego🔥 + cocodrilo🐊 = fuecoco

This is Dingodile, the Fuecoco I'm using in Pokemon. He falls asleep after running for a few seconds. He is the only Pokemon I'm using in Scarlet and we will mow everyone down in our path. He is all that matters and is the reason I bought a Switch.

Given that Totodile and its evos are my fave starters, and that alligators are my favorite animals, Fuecoco is a no brainer for me.

Just some dumb self-reflection on what my pandemic time was in terms of work and doing things for myself.

Turns out there was a lot of self-sabotage going on and I stoopishly (stupid and foolish) thought I was "wasting time" during the pandemic if I did fun stuff for me and should only be doing career-forwarding stuff. Hoping I can finish my commitments soon and get back to doing things for me that I like.

I did this to myself and am fully aware so I wanted to make fun of myself using one of my favorite meme templates.

ME3 turns 10 today, wow! Anyway here's an old sketchy comic thumbnail that maybe, just maybe, someday I'll clean up properly.

This was my takeaway when playing ME 3 the first time: I fell for James hard, but was also reminded on how much I missed having krogans on board. James and Garrus together are also really fun.

I wish Cullen was a companion for this reason alone. I KNOW he was ready to greatly approve my ass for recruiting the templars. You know he wanted to bitch about other stuff too, but couldn't. That's what makes his romance tough for me. You can literally be a dictator and have your companions hate your guts and he'd still wanna marry you lmao....YELL AT ME ALREADY!!!! Come on, I know you got beef.

It’s year of the tiger so here’s Long the Tiger from the VERY underrated fighting game, Bloody Roar.  I was obsessed with this game when I was 8-11 years old ish and wow how did this game NOT turn me into a furry????

I sketched this on my Samsung tablet while I waited for my mom at the doctor and liked it, but then I made a huge mess in trying to color it lol and now I don’t like it. Oh well.

I had this thumbnail floating around for like 2-3 months so I finally finished it now that I’m on vacation yay.  I included the steps I go thru for fun.  Might do some other characters in this style.  I’m still not sure if I like this style or not 🤔🤔

A failed experiment, but posting nonetheless. My Shepard in my favorite armor: the Cerberus Ajax one in ME3.  This is the first time I draw her and was trying to test some stuff.  Super meh about it, but don’t want to just delete it.  

James in my favorite armor variant for him as well (makes it easier to draw when all the squad follows the same basic uniform style lol).  I simp for James Vega and it’s probably the only time I unironically say I simp for a video game character tbh.  

I’m extremely rusty in drawing.....people....so I gotta hit books again.  I just don’t spend enough time on the ‘ol tablet and it makes me super shaky, slow, and sucky when I actually do attempt something lol.

Happy N7Day Mass Effect fans!!!! Here’s my best big boi, Wrex!!! Everyone else can head out....except James who would probably be my favorite if he didn’t only show up in 1 game.

Anyway, I got into Mass Effect late because I kept avoiding it because I’m just not that into sci-fi compared to fantasy and Dragon Age was my bread n butter for sooo many years but my cousin and coworker finally got me on this once and for all and I’m hooked. It was especially nice for the Legendary Edition to come out during the pandemic and revitalized the fandom. I started a group chat with coworkers that I don’t actually interact much with because we’re from different departments, but it created an unexpected bonding and it’s just been so fun to geek at work too. I’m going to try to ME stuff for N7Day/Week, but don’t hold me to it because you know, work, life, etc.

"Those That We Do Not Speak Of" from the movie, The Village dir. by M Night Shamylan. I really liked this movie and has a lot of great actors. Of course, I'm bias because of young Joaquin Phoenix, but everyone is great here. Anyway the monster designs look cool, but when I was little I was terrified of these things haha.

I forgot to finish these so have this mess.  These are decorative knight statues from the Sims Medieval that even have some lore behind them so I wanted to paint ‘em because the designs are really cool.  I really like that game even though it’s gameplay isn’t traditional to the Sims games, but it’s super fun and hilarious...plus I’m a sucker for medieval/fantasy games.  Go play Sims Medieval.

I've been talking to my coworker a lot about digimon so I wanted to try to draw one of my faves: Kabuterimon. I love Izzy and Tentomon and the episode where Tentomon first digivolves is so good. I also wanted to practice getting used to my Samsung tablet. Drawn on medibang.

Didn’t touch my tablet for all of 2020 so I wanted to get into practicing painting again.  I love using knights as test subjects because faces are covered lol and I can’t paint that. Anyway here are some rough practice sketch paints I guess.

Quick Cult of Kosmos sketch as an FYI that I'm super duper into AC: Odyssey right now. I never really cared for the AC games, but I’m a filthy dirty slut for ancient Greek history; especially mythology and it’s not exaggerated like God of War. 

Anyway the cult has the coolest uniforms imp so sign me up.

Red Templar (well if I colored it, it would be red lol) from DA Inquisition.  I wanted to practice armors and greyscale values so why not something Dragon Age related?? Tbh, I think about 80% of all Dragon Age armor is ugly in the entire franchise, but I do really like red templars because I’m a huge sucker for armor with helmets that covers the face completely...Hence why I love Venatori rougues and mages. Anyway, just some practice that I was taking to long to finish so here you go.

No lie, the last time I did a digital painting with a reference was in 2012.  This was an experiment/exercise from Robin Har’s (@ saboteur on instagram) tutorial on painting armor.  His work is so cool and his tutorial on his process was very helpful.  I’m actually pretty happy with the result of a “first draft” and look forward to practicing more and improving!  2020 will be the year of massive art improvement!

A DAI screen shot paint dump I was working on for practice like 3 months ago.  I meant to clean up and revisit these, but I got super busy at work since I got a promotion and my free time has been pretty much been taken with other things.  Hopefully I can get back into drawing real soon.  Until then, here’s a garbo dump.
