something that sticks out to me about the mcr show is like. the black parade ends so bleakly. the government puppet becoming a suicide bomber after the death of gerard way and the mournful cello… but then‼️ the band regroups on a different stage and keeps playing!!! art lives on a continues to challenge us and continues to inspire us…anyway

#mcr #mcr seattle #i know that the black parade is the performance art piece but i think the fact that they play basically an entire set AFTER that is also #part of the art yknow. i think it means something that despite the failure of democracy and the continued existence of the dictatorship #the prevalence of propoganda and people seeing the truth/switching sides only after it’s too late…#I think it’s important that art continues after that. that there is still more to see and experience and do #i am so curious to see if and how this show evolves over time. I LOVE PERFORMANCE ART 🫶🏼🫶🏼#saw someone on twitter posted a thread of all the ‘acting’ bits and I do need to watch those…I feel like I couldn’t hear the spoken words #as well as I wanted to from where I was. also wasn’t wearing ear protection (whoops) which I think made it worse #anyway. fascinated by this show. SO glad I got to be there and be surprised by everything
