Platonic yanderes rarely get as much attention as the male readers but when they do it's trash

ABSOLUTELY!!!

Justice for the platonic yanderes! Parental or friend yanderes! People really need to write for them, cause I actively seek them out, and get disappointed by the same stories I've read before, or ones that don't particularly interest me (or ones written for fandoms I have no knowledge about)

I definitely aim to write for more platonic yanderes in the future!

Tbh, my pet peeve (or something that just annoys me) in those stories where it's a universe with hybrids, and y/n is human! No claws, no wings, no nothing to protect them....

Humans are cool creatures too! We hunted down mammoths! Give us the stamina we truly have! Use that indomitable adrenaline TikTok raved about not so long ago. Point out the fact that humans are omnivores who can eat quite a lot of foods that other hybrids maybe couldn't (like dogs can't eat chocolate or avocados, herbivores and carnivores having restrictions... Play in to not only their physical looks, but also biological!)

Maybe, add some enhanced creativity to the human reader, y'know?

Yandere who is so in love with you, it hurts.

It’s worrying, to be honest. If you asked them to move mountains, you’re starting to think they actually would. They swoon and melt at your touch, becoming breathless as they stare at you with pure admiration in their eyes.

They’re the type to never break eye contact first — or not at all. They watch you from across the room, their gaze follows you until you are no longer visible.

They’d do anything for you, and I mean it. From the simplest tasks like bringing you water, to murder. You truly have to watch what you say around them. One misunderstanding and they’re hunting down some random person that bumped in to you without apologising. They’d stop if you asked of course, if you managed to snap them out in time.

They handle you like you’re glass. Careful hands that hover around your body, almost afraid to touch you like you’re a priceless artefact. But they need, need to touch you. Even then, their touch remains featherlight — even when they desperately grab your wrist when you try to leave. 

They embody love, obsession. It’s so sweet it hurts your teeth. Nobody could stop them, nothing. Not even death shall do you part.

Yandere!CEO dad, who made sure you got only the best childhood you can get (even if that meant having you constantly surrounded my bodyguards). You have a summerhouse near a beautiful beach, a cozy hut for skiing in the winter, and an astonishing mansion filled with entertainment for a life time. But, he did and still tries to shield you away from the true horrors of the true world. Poverty, wars, jealousy, hatred. He believes no matter how old you are, you should live a life some people could only dream of! Just...listen to him. He hates to see you sad.

Yandere!Mafia boss dad, who tries to gaslight you into making you believe that he is just an average guy with an average family (but with an amazing kid!). His work is sometimes demanding so he sometimes needs to work overtime, don't think too much about it. Oh, that gun you found? It was an old...hobby he had when he was younger. No biggie. It's also for some extra protection. That stash of money? Oh, it's your...college money. Put it back before you lose it. The "bloodstained" suit? You and your imagination! It's just a suit he wore and got dirty. Stop...asking questions.

Yandere!Teacher dad, who is truly gifted. Maths, English, foreign languages, sciences, it seems like he can help you with everything. He can make anything in to a lesson, but don't worry! He has mastered the way to turn his lectures fun. Some random facts about a certain object, certain topic, certain building... He just wants you to know that he is always there, judgement free, to help you with anything you might need (and he wants you to only depend on him). The moment he sees you become more independent as you age, he begins to panic. You become more secretive, and that stresses him out non-stop. He has to try to use his knowledge to pull you back in to his slipping grasp– he needs the little you once again.

Yandere!Emperor dad, who wishes he could be around you more. With keeping up with reputations, important figures, and ruling overall, it makes it difficult to keep a constant connection with you. So, whenever he goes on trips, he makes sure to get whatever is the most luxurious and bring it to you. Jewelry, delicacies, clothing..anything. He hopes one day, you take his roll as Emperor. He sees it in you, and he won't stop at anything to make sure you get what's best for you, the future Emperor/ess. Even if you don't entirely want it...

Tbh, I really like the idea of characters that act the opposite of their personalities as yanderes.

The cold, villainous, sadistic character that turns soft, not daring to lay a finger on you in fear that you may shatter. They promise to kill anyone who dares look at you wrong – or even think of you wrong. But don't worry, they love you, and they are not one bit hesitant to show that to you.

Then, the kind, innocent, sweet character that doesn't even act like the same person anymore. The person who makes sure to release any bug that got trapped in their room outside is covered in blood. Maybe they still have their iconic smile but it became twisted and malicious, or maybe they got rid of their gentle persona.

Maybe even smart characters that seem to be the next Einstein start to fumble and mix up facts, becoming sloppy in their work. And the rather dumb or stupid character using their brain for once and being scarily too good at finding and concealing their work.

Something along those lines, yeah.
