Consider if you will: Roz wanting to express her feelings to Optimus but having no idea how to do that. Her best point of reference, of course, is the animals and their behaviors. She learns they have their own methods of expressing interest in a mate, especially the birds!

After some studying, she approaches Optimus one day… and proceeds to bust out into one (or several) of those wild and showy courtship dances you see from certain male birds. It’s equal parts scary and impressive given her talents of imitation. 😂

That is one fabulous way to go about expressing one's feelings. But, I don't think Optimus would get it from the get go that she thinks he's hot stuff from that.

For me it would be cute if she went a more quieter route, as in my mind Optimus is more of a quiet, thoughtful person.

Mabye she'll be inspired by crows and start giving him ✨shiny✨things/trinkets she finds on the island. A piece of seaglass/ or mabye some antique Japanese fishing balls that had washed ashore years ago. (Lowkey I want that)

Mabye she'll be like those sparrows or whatever birds I can't remember rn that build if not a house then a sort of nesting area for Optimus hahahaha. And if he isn't getting it. She'll just built it bigger and bigger and prettier and prettier until he asks her about it.

Yo imagine if she went the route that male birds were more vibrant in colour and went about painting herself in if not his colours then like patterns that were pretty on her.

Finally, mabye she would be inspired by her travels/adventures by the rock giving penguins. She'll be leaving little pretty rocks by Optimus's feet. Mabye on his hood as he recharged. By his house. Everywhere. Until he finally asks her about it and accepts her.

Of course since, these are all animal behaviours haha Optimus would be like: huh?

He would always say yes in the end though.💅

Hopefully it won't take him long to realise her intent hahaha. At the very least she would be fulfilling one rite of the conjunx ritus: the act of profference.

((Okay but a thought I had if Wild Robot and Transformers were in a shared universe… We know that humans have taken and adapted some Cybertronian technology and applied it to their own robots… And we know that there are apparently energon reserves on Earth… And Roz’s lights and power are suspiciously the same color as energon…

I think it could be very possible that Roz has some Cybertronian in her and she just doesn’t know it yet. 👀))

Would real Cybertronians see that the same way or would she be like a poor imitation (a mimic)?

But then it does come to question she doesn't need energon- that would be valuable to Cybertronian if you thinking at this point their still at war. Cybertronians had only ever been able to make energon- from stuff via an energon-filtration machine thing- even it if is hydro/ solar source.

A human cracked to code to infinite energon and put it into bot form and was able to mass produce it. Now that is something I think any Cybertronian would want to see.

Optimus could then be debating whether or not he should convince Roz to leave the island? Or Roz could be considering that.

Is that his right to do so? With his species being such a violent rolling force, while all her life she been striving for the opposite.

Is it for his benefit or hers?

What would telling her do? Does that change anything for her?

How does that affect his feelings for her?
