getting my spark back & starting anew!

i haven't been super into playing the sims lately. my cc folder has felt very bloated for a good while now with around 150GB of stuff inside it and i have started to notice that in game performance.

to be completely honest, longer load times and lag have sucked the joy out of building and playing. i have made the decision to empty out my cc folder entirely and start from scratch. i hope this will bring some of the excitement and magic i've felt for all these decades back into the game.

i'm also moving in two weeks so i'll be quiet for a bit longer while i sort out both that and building my cc folder back up. after that i will hopefully be back in action <3 i've missed you guys and your wonderful stories and sims, i can't wait to be back!

BETTER BRAND DEALS MOD

This is a simple tuning mod that changes the rather lacklustre corporate partnership options in Get Famous (seriously, who wants to do an ad for a fishing association?) and increases the amount of money you get from successfully completing a partnership deal. All of the partnerships are now beauty and cosmetics related and will be successfully completed by filming and uploading a video via the Video Station. You'll get anywhere between 15 000 and 35 000 simoleons with an added bonus of 5000 simoleons if the uploaded video is a "Beauty Review." Disclaimer: This is my first public mod. It's basically just a very quick tuning mod I whipped up for my own gameplay purposes. It requires Get Famous and will conflict with any other mods that touch the corporate partnership tuning. A charming apartment building with a mixture of both old and new. Kitchens and bathrooms are furnished. There are three apartments per floor, two small ones in an older style and one bigger apartment in a more modern style.

I tried to keep the CC to a minimum but I also wanted to limit packs. In the end I prioritised CC over pack content for those of you who don't own all of the packs. REQUIRES City Living and Lovestruck. Optional cosmetic packs are Spa Day, Home Chef Hustle and High School Years. This is a residential lot. I'm not sure if rentals are still contributing to the corruption of save files so I decided to play it safe and not class the lot as a residential rental. You'll need to assign the apartments yourself. If you don't care about the furnishings, you only need to download the links with sparkles after them. More pictures and the floorplan can be found HERE.
