Confession time: I initially started shipping Laishuro because I thought it was the funniest way to make Shuro suffer after everything that’s gone on (Laios would have been fine with it since he obviously doesn’t hold any ill feelings). And then I read the last chapters and epilogue and was like ohhhh…

Anyway I also reread the manga and had the realization that Shuro had no idea how cool Laios thinks he is. The anime didn’t keep him mumbling “What about me is strong…?” after Laios said everything about himself not being as skilled or strong as Shuro. Then that made me think about how ironic it is that Shuro is probably aware/self-conscious about being boring from the perspective of his father that he doesn’t know how to handle Laios thinking he’s the greatest guy ever.

Ouhghhh my god...................... theyve had their moment in canon where theyve said their worst opinions about the other. now i desperately want a moment for laios specifically to say, with the full concentrated power of the sun, exactly what it is that he thinks is so great to shuros face. i want shuros face to explode into flames

apparently im completely capable of watching the same episode three (3) times, twice in a row, and not realise that its the same episode

next week is the doppelganger episode and I keep wondering. how would laishuro handle it. what is laios like in toshiro’s head? he’s annoyed by him but also envies him immensely and is the one who spent the most time around laios just listening to him talk. doppelganger laios from toshiro’s pov who looks exactly the same as the real laios and who couldn’t be differentiated even when looking for inconsistencies in his monsters infodump. the only way to realize it’s a fake is when it tries to grab at toshiro like laios usually did before their fight. because present laios has learnt his lesson about boundaries and wouldn’t do it again. and toshiro would kill the doppelganger because he trusts laios is doing his best to treat him better now. and he’s right.

re: "what if laios had grabbed his hand instead of his wrist", i noticed it looks like he does kind of scoot up his own hand a bit to hold it, huge difference between second and third panels honestly

oh man. i just found a decent chunk of unpublished no sugars chapter. maybe i should clean it up and post it..

headache mostly went away but i dont know if its because of the ibuprofen i took or because of the food. i choose to believe it is because i pulled myself up by my bootstraps 💪

had a dream i had to resurrect someone and walked long dark passageways in emptiness and had to give up things to make it happen (objects, was vague on this in the dream, possibly body fluids), eventually came upon a stair and pushed my way through large doors into a church blaring with organs. there she was! the resurrection succeeded! im only now realising maybe i was the one being resurrected

looking at the manga panel where laios pulls shuro's hair and i think while his neck is exposed like that he should kiss it. in a suggestive way or in a peppering with kisses in a silly way. both good

i want him to bite down in a fit of anger and then shuro surprises them both by being into it. you're so right though

if you REALLY kinned laios you would also love shuro 😑
