Loli’s Hot Take ⇢ There's so many beautiful moments and imagery in this film. From Harold not speaking a word to his mother outside of that his throat hurts (to which she immediately infantilizes him), to the way he literally deflates in posture after his mother scolds him for scaring away his potential mate. Harold doesn't have a voice until he meets Maude.
