Anything else!
i open my journal after too many days of not writing a word Find a new page, a blank page Realize this is harder than i wanted it to be the bottom up start over. I dont want to be impatient but i am, and i stare as the lines on the page fold together, will them to become poetry. will them to fracture themselves into language, structure, composition into anything else.

Embrace Your Second Chance: Discovering Your True Self Within
Sometimes we get so hard on ourselves for making mistakes that we forget to actually learn from them. We give other people in our lives second chances. But we bury ourselves in the dirt with no hope of redemption. The truth is without forgiving yourself for what you’ve done, you’ll never truly forgive others. It’s the internal battle that must be overcome first. Because joy will never be joy…

Invisible Backpacks: What Are You Carrying?
We are all carrying backpacks that we continually load up. We keep stuffing them full until one day, they can’t zip and the stuff starts spilling out all over the place How much does your life weigh? Imagine for a second that you’re carrying a backpack. I want you to feel the straps on your shoulders. Now … I want you to fill it with people. Start with casual acquaintances, friends of friends,…

Its Okay
Two words. Very polarizing. Sometimes just what we need to hear. Sometimes just what shouldn't be said at all. Sometimes we get too comfortable with these words and that becomes a problem. Sometimes we dont value & accept those words for our self and that is a problem as well.
It can act as that comforting hug when you need to slow down and pause. As well as a habit of toxic tolerance, in disguise. Its okay to get caught up in the sorcery of words 'coz that's how we truly come to know, the difference...
nd that's how we master this art of words & when to  say it, when to listen  to it, when to not.
So, it's okay

Lets make this year worthy and best! Happy new year
The first day of that milky white winter lull and the sun has been rubber band rocketed. from the sky, all that is left is the thick froth stuck to the sides of our ceramic mugs. its true, everything flickers with life until it doesnot and when the blank page seeks an answer, i watch as something living floats out from my fingers and onto the paper in a web only i can see.

Life in a Jiffy
Life in a Jiffy
There are some things you can’t forget. Like the smell of monsoon rain and how nervous you were when you had your first kiss. Shedding trees in autumn and their golden leaves crunching beneath your feet on your walks and how warm and gooey falling in love feels.  Like the first bloom of sunshine that splits from your curtains and wakes you to a new morning of hope and happiness. The peace you…

The other day!
I keep thinking about yesterday’s incident, i spilled an entire mug of coffee on his smooth ironed white shirt, how the apologies poured out my mouth almost simultaneously and his reaction was not anger. It was nothing close to anger.A sixteen ounce stain had stripped his favorite shirt where he could have cursed or spit or sighed, but he laughed! Its okay,he told me. i adore every little…

Eavesdropping Anecdote - Tere Gajre Me
Eavesdropping Anecdote – Tere Gajre Me
If Mumbai to have an official flower than it would have to be the mogras I was half asleep on my regular local in the torpid mild heat after a hard long day at work , when the cool smell of mogras wafted over and woke me up ever so gently. I opened by heavy somnolent eyes to see two classic commuter ladies – starched saris with sharp pleats, modern mangalsutras, rexine purses tucked underarm-…

We’re all just walking each other home.
We’re all just walking each other home.
And so lately I’m asking myself: What if the people I encounter in daily life are all, in their own way, walking me home? Probably very few of them have any conscious awareness of the roles they are playing in my life script. Did you ever walk home with a friend from school?  The mental picture of walking someone home is gripping. The very act brings to mind safety, concern, security, love,…

It can be stormy but can't Rain Forever
It can be stormy but can’t Rain Forever
Halfway home, the sky goes from dark gray to almost black and a loud thunder snap accompanies the first few raindrops that fall. Heavy, warm, big drops, they drench me in seconds, like an overturned bucket from the sky dumping just on my head. I reach my hands up and out, as if that can stop my getting wetter, and open my mouth, trying to swallow the downpour, till it finally hits me how funny it…

Rain talks!
Hello!
He said hello and then said. 'What are you up to now?"
"I am still crazy,The rain feels good. I love to walk in it.
I dont think i'd like that: he said
'you might if you tried"
"I never have"
She moisten  her lips. " Rain even tastes good'
"What do you do, go around trying everything once?" he asked
"Sometimes twice".

Dont try to control the Sunset
People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be.
When i look at a sunset,
i don't find myself saying ’soften then the orange a bit on the right hand corner’
I don't try to control a sunset, I watch with awe as its unfolds

Democratic institutions mirroring bigoted ideas right down to it's laws, to their policies.
Working like agents, lapdogs of Government.
Govt working on the visions of corporates.
Corporates working on the visions of elites.
Together they both working to preserve the status quo,
Both working to promote false consciousness secretly.
But in the name of "The people of India". The always suffering deprived people of India in the name of democracy and democratic ideals
.Its indeed "Too much democracy"

Thatcher or Anna moment? Why Modi’s choice on farmers’ protest will shape future politics
Has the farmers’ blockade of Delhi brought Narendra Modi to his Thatcher moment or Anna moment? It is up to Modi to answer that question as India waits. It will write the course of India’s political economy, even electoral politics, in years to come.Modi can retreat like Manmohan Singh did under pressure from the Anna Hazare movement, or push farm reforms in Margaret Thatcher's style.
