Currently stewing in how Ramón’s og design seems like it was supposed to surprise players in the revelation of him being 20 in spite of him appearing older - which fell flat because the aged look doesn’t come across as much in the original model.

So when we get to the remake, and they lean more into the old, sickly, look, you expect the surprise to hit more.

But then they? Don’t mention his age at all? So unless you’re already familiar with him? You just think he’s just an old guy? Rather than it being an additional indication of something being wrong?!

You know how most people tend to get really defensive of their opinions on characters and really hate mischaracterizations.

I have the opposite problem

In which I am so UNconfident about my characterization that the second i see an alternate take on it I immediately think "that guy's actually probably right and way better than me and im a total idiot and have been incorrect about everything my whole life."

Tbh I wish people would make more comics about the other characters or dreamtale, this au has the biggest quantity of chaotic characters I've seen and I love it.
