Congratulations YOU!!!
My HBP scare a month ago woke me up. I knew it meant my body was lacking nutrients so since then I've been working on my eating habits, adding more raw vegetables, more vegetable juicing or blending, alkaline water and lots of teas with spices, lemon and ginger into my diet. I’m also training myself to eat more frequently throughout the day. I know all this weight and body fat have comprised my internal organs, digestive, circulatory and lymph systems. The two go hand in hand. That means if I want to get control of my health and reverse some of these unattractive signs of aging, I need to also include skin, blood, liver, colon and digestive aids into my new regimen. This past Friday, I started "using it really werks" colon cleanse and slimming teas a friend recommended. The slimming tea is for 28 days and is definitely more gentle to the system. The cleanse is every other day for 14 days. I started with the slimming tea Friday and Saturday, and added the Colon Cleanse last night. I know they’re working because I lost 2.5 pounds of waste between yesterday and today. I’m definitely going to keep using them for at least the next 30 days.12 pounds down, and my body is already beginning to feel more like my own again. That's super exciting!!!!!  So BAM ... diet under control. Time to up the ante with the workouts.

Weight Loss Woe #1
it seems utterly ridiculous to say I need to eat more in order to lose more, but I do!!!! Eating more than twice per day is something I really struggle with. So today I picked up some chocolate protein powder thinking that would help .... uuggghhhhh .... now I’m struggling to get the taste of chalk outta my mouth.

Planning is one of the most important skills you can learn.
We all know someone who never has enough time for anything, and sometimes that person is us. That person is someone who doesn’t plan.
Let’s be real. Do you think that suddenly 2 hours are going to drop in your lap and when that magically happens you’ll use them to be super productive? You have that 2 hours in your day. Chances are you’re just not using it productively.
When I talk about planning, I’m not talking about drawing in a pinterest worthy bullet journal for 4 hours a day. I just mean have one place where you keep track of all your stuff. I don’t care if it’s a planner, your phone, whatever.
Consider what’s going on in the future. If you know you’re going to have a crazy week, get your laundry and meal prep done ahead of time.
If you plan, you might find out that you have a lot more time than you thought you did.

2.11.2018 - Weigh In
two more down!! ~ though I know I could have done better.
was mostly on my food game, but didn’t push myself physically AT ALL this week. I did however, rearrange the furniture and make room for some exercise equipment. Its a tight fit, but also right in my face now, lol ... no more excuses. biggest challenge(s): walking / working out 30 minutes daily getting 7-8 hrs of uninterrupted sleep portion sizes and eating more frequently (4-6x is hard for me).

Figs are one of the earliest fruits grown by man. Dried figs (popularly known as ANJEER in India) are not only tasty to eat, it has numerous health benefits to offer as well. Fig season occurs twice a year: The first season is from May-June. The fruits produced in these months are acidic and sub-par compared to the figs produced in the cooler season of December through January.
