I never pop on here anymore, but I just want to say that it truly gets better. A few months ago I was deep in bipolar depression, suicidal, had lost everything I cared about, and felt so hopeless. Today I'm sipping matcha, studying for the admissions test for medical school after hanging out with friends, and learning about my dream subject at my dream school. I've found so much happiness, and I truly love my life. You will too <3.

A month ago I was having a panic attack thinking I would never make it out of a difficult situation after being stuck for many months. Today I'm out of the situation, happier than I've ever been, and excited for the future knowing I can face whatever comes at me. It truly does get better, even if it takes awhile.

Recovery is a conscious choice. Life might feel really hopeless. It might even feel like everything is falling apart. Sometimes you have to take really small steps. Celebrate the tiniest victories, like taking a shower or leaving your apartment. You don't have to wait for the circumstances to be perfect to start changing your life for the better.
