Louise, but I prefer Lou. 26, Scotland. Second year student nurse, undiagnosed neurodivergent (AuDHD), amateur health & fitness enthusiast with a new found love for vedic meditation. Shakespeare once wrote ‘Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none’, if I can live by that, I’d like to think I’m doing okay. I hope you find a safe space here - come with me on my spiritual journey of self discovery

I strongly believe meditation to be the missing link the NHS needs to help the mental health crisis! Start teaching this in schools, and referring people to these courses and I promise you will receive positive outcomes and experiences. It is life-changing, and should be a necessary tool for promoting the maintenance of mental health and well-being. The world, and individuals within themselves, would be a lot happier and kinder as a result.

I saw a post the other day about how difficult mindfulness meditation can be, especially for people who are neurodivergent, and OP was frustrated that their therapist never recommended anything else. There are many opportunities to bring mindfulness, focus, and intention to activities you already like! Learning about flow state has been a real eye-opener for me.
