si la gente no distingue a Andrew y a Aaron es porque se hacen el mismo corte y a veces usan la misma ropa. Me imagino a Andrew igual que en los fan arts con piercing y Aaron teniendo que hacerlo uno para hacerse pasar por Andrew en una situación específica jajajs

listen I know it's heartbreaking that Claudia dies and it's understandable to wish she didn't, but let's please not accuse the writers of fridging her. to do so is a fundamental misunderstanding of the story and is frankly insulting to the intelligence and skill of the writers of the show.

Claudia's death, and the overwhelming grief and regret her parents experience because of it, is quite literally the point of the entire story. she dies because Anne's daughter Michele died of leukemia when she was five years old and there was nothing she or her husband could do to prevent it.

writing IWTV was how Anne coped with the unimaginable loss of a parent losing her child. she created a story about a little girl that could not die and then killed her anyway. Claudia's death is a senseless, unavoidable tragedy, just like Michele's was. the grief that haunts Louis and Lestat for the rest of their lives is the same grief that haunted Anne and her husband.

so when you're accusing people of killing Claudia off to benefit a story about two men, please remember that in real life sometimes parents lose their children. please remember Michele Rice.

she's the reason Claudia exists.

she's also the reason Claudia cannot be saved.

Estaba viendo un anime y pensé en el término que usan ellos "bienvenido a casa" de forma natural como un saludo. Siento que Neil lo amaría.

Imaginé a Neil volviendo después de un día estresante donde sus compañeros de equipo se volvieron insoportables y después el entrenador no los ayudó porque solo les dio ejercicios super difíciles. Él no puede decir mucho porque sigue siendo el nuevo. Entonces vuelve todo casado, mete la llave y al abrir la puerta está Andrew sentado en el sillón acariciando un gato y dice: "Bienvenido a casa"  Entonces Neil piensa que todo tiene sentido.

the first time I’ve read Neil saying “you gave me a key and called it home”, my world shifted. I thought omg he just confessed. Did he rlly confess now??. I thought it was the most romantic thing he had ever said. So honest, so vulnerable. When I think about love like between lovers, there’s always a time in which two people are first acquaintances, then friends, then they’re fond of themselves, then they like each other, then they fall in love. At that stage, you can start to love someone and include them in your life, that’s when you’re not lovers anymore, but family. As someone who holds family in high regard, when I first read both Andrew’s and Neil’s stories, I thought they need someone, they need a family. Who in this world doesn’t need a family? Everybody needs somebody, even the devil needs a friend. So to read such big words, I don’t know, it was legendary. I want to talk first about the big act of love Andrew did at the end of the first book, he gave him protection, but not just that, he gave him a key, and he called it home. I remember in the first pages, Neil used to sleep in abandoned houses and sometimes his old coach used to fake forget the gym open so he could sleep there. You understand what I am saying? Andrew looked trough him, he didn’t see a liar, a lonely boy, a frightened one at that, a runaway, someone with an attitude problem. He saw Neil and for a moment he was looking into a mirror. He loved him to the point of giving him what he didn’t even had in the first place: a home. To love someone to the point of creation.

—Olvídate de ellas. Estás bien así. Vivo y a mi lado —Andrew pasó su mano por su rostro junto donde tenía las marcas del cuchillo y Neil permitió que lo acunara mientras cerraba los ojos. Y se quedó allí mientras los minutos pasaban.

Recordó a su padre tan posesivo que su cariño fue una soga en el cuello de su madre en el que ella sintió la necesidad de huir. Su madre sabía que eso cavaría su propia tumba y aún así se fue, porque seguía siendo mejor opción que quedarse. No quería que Andrew huyera por no sentirse bien a su lado. 

Las siguientes palabras dolieron de decir, pero fue una confesión sincera.

—No quiero que sientas la necesidad de huir de mí. Como mi madre lo sintió con mi padre. Quiero ser mejor que ellos.

En algún momento los foxes y los trojans se van a enfrentar y Jean va hacer un pase perfecto a Jeremy para que anote y Kevin va a pensar: esos pases antes eran para mi.

Thinking about how The Foxhole Court exists to be reread. It is easily the weakest book in the series and it doesn't make sense half the time and it fails to really make you care about anyone but Neil and is full of plot holes so frustrating that its a miracle that anyone picks up The Raven King. Reading it for the first time is like a test sent from Nora above to see if you are worthy of Andrew Minyard and the whole time you ARE failing it.

And then you go back and reread it with the context of trk & tkm and suddenly it is the greatest work of foreshadowing and world building literature has ever known. Suddenly every single sentence makes complete sense and every ounce of characterization is incredible. Like you cannot unlock the greatness of tfc until you read the whole trilogy but at the same time you have to suffer through a book with major pacing issues and nonsensical characterization; a book that is the literally equivalent of

It's like Schrödinger's writing style. It's both good and bad depending if you've read the other 2 books.

Jean muttered something rude under his breath but obediently changed. As soon as he dropped his hands Kevin reached out to fix his collar and tug the top two buttons loose. Kevin hesitated, then hooked a finger under the silver chain around Jean’s neck and pulled it free.

Lo fuerte que fue Jean bajo la mirada de Kevin. Tenia que intentar dibujarlo.
