First and foremost, hello! I’m Tiffany for those of you who don’t know (if there’s anyone left on this tag to see this). Anyone who knew me..knows I was realllly invested in The Hunger Games a few years back, particularly Alexbelle/Clato. Like ya girl had to had cried about ten pounds worth of tears over this fandom over the course of those few years. I was that borderline crazy fan who would stay up all night just reading, writing, and talking THG. Of course as the trilogy came to a close and the actors moved onto different roles, we all went our separate ways and it all seemed to fade away. But every now and then, I hear a song or come across one of my old HG magazines, and something pulls me back to my tumblr and this tag, because at one point this tag was my safe haven. I want to say it was around March of 2012 that I took a deep interest in the books. And that one scene in the book (Clato shippers out there know which one) was enough to draw me in. I read soo many Cato and Clove fanfictions. I was in love with their beautifully tragic story, and my love extended to Alexander and Isabelle for doing a phenomenal job on the movie. I joined Tumblr late april/early may and instantly followed the alexbelle tag (fun fact: before tumblr, I used to call it alexabelle on my old facebook page). The alexbelle ship definitely had its rocky moments (pun intended); the statutory rape accusations, certain new girlfriends, and bickering between one another, but at the end of the day we created this tight knit community where we could laugh, cry, and fangirl together. I appreciate every moment of it today, the good and the bad. I like to take a look back every now and then, think of all the happiness it brought to my life, cry a few happy tears at all of the beautiful memories, and laugh(cringe) at how crazy I was. I will always have a deep appreciation for Isabelle Fuhrman, Alexander Ludwig, the rest of the hunger games cast, and the people I bonded with on this tag. You guys were my light when every other aspect of my life was an endless pit of darkness. On my depressed days, I’d curl up in a pair of sweatpants with some Ben & Jerry’s and indulge in some incredible alexbelle writing, and it would make me feel a lot better. So where ever you all are today, I want to say thank you for being my strength on my weakest days. If you ever wanna talk alexbelle/clato/anything hunger games, I’m your girl.
