Rating: G Relationships: Lucifer & Castiel, Castiel & Jack, Lucifer & Jack Summary: Jack only wants one thing for Christmas, but the only person he’ll tell is Santa. Too bad Santa doesn’t exist. Angels would know if Santa existed… right? Written for @luciferadvent square “Santa ambiguity”
Jack stretched up on his toes, straining to see past the crowd of people and the long line of gathering children. He craned his neck, stretching this way and that until he caught a glimpse of red.
d"I saw him! I saw him!“ Jack cried, tugging on his father’s hand. "Did you see? Do you think it’s really him?”
“It certainly looks like him,” Lucifer said.
In truth, he sensed nothing special about the old man. While it was entirely possible that his father had made some magical Christmas spirit, was just a human in a costume, not a drop of magic in his blood, but with Jack vibrating with excitement at his side, Lucifer didn’t have the heart to say it.
“Do you think he’ll bring what I ask for?” Jack asked.
“What are you going to ask for?”
“I told you.” Jack’s little face drooped into a serious frown. “I can’t tell you or it won’t come true.”
“Maybe, but you know, buddy, I actually have a lot of powers of my own,” Lucifer said. “So if I knew–”
Jack cut his father off with a melodramatic sigh. “That’s archangel magic, Daddy. I need Santa magic.”

THE HOLIDAYS AREN’T OVER YET- ANNOUNCING AN EXTENSION!!
Many people have said they have stuff they wanted to post but got too busy with Christmas (or other holidays or there was just something good on Netflix). I get it. I started so many things and then the eggnog started getting passed around.
So we’re going to have an extension. As a true follower of Lucifer I tried to find the sneakiest loophole in our Christmas deal. I’m still considering the exact extensions (looking for the longest definition of Christmas season in all religions and cultures) but you’re going to at minimum have the 12 Days of Christmas so until January 6th.
Prizes:
Whoever posts the most by the deadline: A glass ornament and a Lucifer nutcracker
Completes 25 stories: A glass Lucifer ornament.

This Side of the Road
Rating: G Ship: Michael/Lucifer Summary: Michael is settling into his life on Earth, away from God and with Lucifer. Written for @luciferadvent square “opposites attract.”
There is a small church across the road, old and unassuming with cracked brick and clouded windows. Every few days, an old man shuffles out through the snow and changes the sign out front, tucking the old, worn letter blocks into place to spell out inspirational messages or invitations to the next service, often both. Today, it reads:
HE IS GOD’S CHRISTMAS GIFT TO THE WORLD CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE 6:30 PM
Michael takes a sip of his coffee and sets the mug on the windowsill. It’s a load of nonsense, and he knows it, but the humans’ little churches are as close as he can get now. Sometimes the singing is nice.

FAQ
What is Lucifer Advent?
You’ll get a bingo card with 25 prompts. You will have to write twenty five fics or create twenty five works of art. That’s one story a day for each day of Advent. The bingo prompts will be from several categories; Christmas tropes, regular tropes, kinks, shipts and Lucifer prompts
Can I veto a trope?
Fo sur! Just make note of it when you sign up.
Do I need to do the prompts in order?
No, write in any order you want. Though if you like a challange you can write in order.
Can I start posting right away?
No! You can start writing as soon as you get your card but save your posting until December 1st.
Can I do chapters instead of one shots?
Yes! One shots, whole stories or single chapters all count.

No but a few would help get us all in the Christmas spirit.

Yes. That’s the name of the challenge.
Can I write other non-Christmas winter holidays?
Yes! I tried looking for Hanukah tropes but only found one. You can write about any winter theme you like. And if you know of some none-Christmas trope please send me them so I can add it!
What can I submit?
Fics, poetry, art, gifs, pretty much anything.
Can I co-write?
Go for it you beautiful diamond.
What should I tag my entries?
Please tag everything with Lucifer Advent and or Lucifer Advent 2019 so I can find them.
