I decided to redraw the hobbits hiding from the Nazgûl! I was inspired by the Nazgûl in the animated lotr film but my version just ended up looking like a Scooby Doo villain (I kinda like him tho)

So I've been watching Dimension 20's Fantasy High lately and thinking about how insane the First Age would be as a DnD campaign.

-Fëanorians roll with permanent disadvantage anytime the Oath or a Silmaril is involved

-actually, ANYONE having to roll against being charmed when they get near the Silmarils (no one has immunity)

-Turin's player has the WORST streaks of Nat 1s

- Ecthelion fighting so many Balrogs because the DM keeps rolling terribly for their attacks

And just these interactions:

Beren: I ask her father for her hand in marriage. DM: roll persuasion Beren: … nat one? DM: He decides to send you on a suicide quest instead.

Beleg: I go to help him! Turin: Oh please don't, these dice are cursed. DM: Turin, Roll perception. Turin: *rolls a nat one* DM: you think you're being attacked. Turin, cursing: Then I swing my sword. Turin: *critical hits*

Luthien: can I escape by using a spell to grow out my hair and then cut it off to make a rope DM:… I'm pretty sure that's not how that spell's supposed to be used, but sure, go for it. Fëanor: could you lend us your boats? DM: roll persuasion. Fëanor, looking at a four: How about I just roll initiative instead DM: you come across another elf in the woods with you. Give me an insight check. Aredhel: a two! DM: you think this guy is fucking amazing DM: Emissaries from Morgoth come out to meet you. Maedhros: can I see what they want? DM: Roll insight. Maglor: wait this is important- have some bardic inspiration! Maedhros: *rolls a nat one minus inspiration* DM: you think Morgoth has your best interests at heart and you can resolve this by having a heart-to-heart conversation. You should definitely talk. Fingon: can I ask Manwë for divine intervention? DM: you’re not a cleric and you broke your oath of devotion at Alqualondë. Fingon: what if I roll a nat 20? DM: …fine, I’ll allow it. Fingon: *rolls* Fingon: :D

Frodo Baggins When rereading Lord of the Rings, I didn't draw any new fanart this time, but started to crochet instead. I had to idea how I would do some adjustments of the pattern for make it hobbit-y so I started with Frodo even though there is never certainty I would get to do more than one hobbit (my absolute favourite is Sam, I reassured myself again with rereading :), and then Pippin). Well, we'll see. I probably should have made Frodo at least Sting and Galadriel's phial, but... well, I didn't. Maybe later. He's not ideal, but generally I'm really pleased with how he turned out, especially feet (can you see the fingers? :D) and hair (it even looks rather good from the back which is not usual)

First Post!

I deleted my old tumblr because... man idk why it was covid-times and the prefrontal cortex was not in the room with us!! Anyways, I was reminded by my lovely friend @repecca that tumblr exists, and that some of my work has been going around on here, so I decided to post some of my work up officially! Starting off with my most notable (?) work to date, here's my LOTR: The Middle Kingdom Project. Now, it's been over a year since I posted this, and at the time I was... really searchingfor myself artistically, and I decided to go all in on something that I'd been ruminating on for a long time.

So, hello, again. I'm Leia. I do visual development/BG design, and I'm also a writer of things. I love fantasy and transformative work. It's nice to meet you.
